2012 Fiat 500 Abarth

Following the 500 (Cinquecento) and the 500 Cabrio , Fiat has also brought the 500 Abarth - otherwise known as the most powerful 500 currently available - to the American market. The American 500 Abarth Abarth made its debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. It brings world-class performance and precision, purposeful and aggressive styling, and high power-to-weight ratio. The model will be offered in a limited edition.

The new Fiat 500 Abarth still maintains all of the elements from its European version, designed for track-day enthusiasts and driving-purists who want the ultimate high-performance small car with the pedigree of an exclusive Italian exotic. It is powered by a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine that delivers a total of 135 HP and a peak torque of 152 lb-ft of torque. The list of standard equipment includes an Abarth-tuned suspension and brake system, a race-inspired design, and technology features not traditionally included on a small car.

"Bringing the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth to the U.S. enables us to reach out to driving enthusiasts who want Italian performance at an attainable price," said Olivier Francois, Head of FIAT Brand and Chief Marketing Officer — Chrysler Group LLC. "With its lightweight, track-tuned handling and purpose-built design, the Fiat 500 Abarth brings to life the legendary racing heritage of the brand and becomes the Italian high-performance car for everyday driving."

The Euro Abarth is rated @135H.P.;the American version is rated @160 H.P. & 170 ft.lbs. of torque. Get your facts straight people!

What an extraordinary concept! This must rule the road presence. The body paint looks fast and furious.

With its 135hp. This Abarth provides Italian experience but in an affordable price. Nice offer to grab.

This Fiat 500 is a nice to personally look at with it’s glossy texture painted in black, it was the most daring car. The way it runs on the road or in dirt, it seems inviting.

I enjoyed the looks of its exterior design. The car is so simple with it’s abstract design, the red line made the car impressive though it’s simple. But I am not that impressed on its engine performance.

For this one, no doubt about it because it made it looks perfectly cool on that. It look different and unusual, in a good way of course. For me, I enjoyed the looks of its exterior design.

I guess everyone loves the red lining on the lower portion of this Abarth. No doubt about it because it made it looks perfectly cool on that. Moreover, I am not that impressed on its engine performance.

That red line on it looks strong on this car. It look different and unusual, in a good way of course. But to be honest, I can still find another cool car better than this.

nice look of car i like the color of this 2 car not only the color but also the style and how it makes. the tires the head light and the back light also and the glass. and most of all the engine and the machine uses on this car. small car but terrible.

Yes, this Fiat is surely a cute car. But what about its engine? Do you think it can keep up with that 135 HP? I hope so,. But as for me, I enjoyed the looks of its exterior design.

This Fiat 500 Abarth is surely on sale for that amount for $22,000. Very cheap for an amazing car like this. The exterior detailing is cool with that red lining. But I am not that impressed with its engine specs.

The car is so simple with it’s abstract design, the red line made the car impressive though it’s simple. The exterior detailing looks cool and interior too.

I just noticed that their cars always have the same styling. However, I can’t help myself but to amaze on the cuteness of it even though it only looked so simple on their abstract design. For me, it is really an amazing car.

I’ m getting bored with the design of the Fiat. I just noticed that their cars always had the same styling, but I still can say that it looks kind of impressive and cute either.

The shape of the headlight of this Abarth is looks like from Bentley! smiley Well, they are really cute on that. Anyway, this vehicle is so impressive on its platform, and I’m glad that they use a boost engine on it.

Whenever I see a Fiat vehicle on the road, I can’t help myself but to amaze on the cuteness of it even though it only looked so simple on their abstract design, and I must say that this one is beyond awesome!

I hope that they would update the article about this Fiat 500 soon! Anyway, even though it still looks like their other vehicle, I as yet impressed with the cuteness of this vehicle.

Fiat seems the small version of Bentley’s vehicle! smiley Anyway, even if I’m getting bored on their platform, I must say that I’m still so impressed with it, especially on its engine output.

The red line on its side rim is the reason why this Abarth still looks fresh even though it had the same styling and platform on their other vehicle. Anyway, I hope it also had an impressive interior.

The abstract design of this Abarth is truly looking so simple but I still impressed with it, because they perfectly add an aggressive style of this cute small race car! smiley It only adds more appeal to it.
