Grammy nominated singer Kelis will star in a new urban marketing campaign to promote the all-new 2007 Ford Edge crossover. Kelis creates a new song “Push it to the Edge” specifically for the campaign.The Edge urban marketing campaign will begin airing on Dec. 20 with major radio, print, television and Internet outlets throughout the country.

The Honda Fit, Saturn Aura and Toyota Camry are the finalists for the 2007 North American Car of the Year award. Finalists for the 2007 North American Truck of the Year award are the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford Edge and Mazda CX-7.

If you waited for the new Ford Edge or Lincoln MKX to arrive to the dealership and buy one, then we have a bad news for new: Ford announced that they will delay shipping to dealerships for at least a couple of weeks.
The two models will arrive to dealerships in late November or at the begining of December.

Even before the Ford Edge started rolling off the assembly line, the company had received 20,000 dealer orders for the new crossover. More than 1 million people have checked out the Edge’s Web site (www.fordvehicles.com), and 320,000 visitors have configured an Edge for themselves.
The all-new 2007 Ford Edge is set to hit dealer showrooms in November and the excitement continues to build. Pricing for Edge models range from $25,995 for the base SE to $29,745 for the SEL Plus.
