2009 Ford Focus RS250 by Kahn Design

Posted on by

Ford is currently preparing to unveil the new-generation Focus RS , but British tuner Kahn Design came up with a pretty cool tuning kit for the current model . The package is called Focus RS250 and, as usual, it’s all about updating the car’s exterior and interior look.

On the exterior, the tuner opted for a Diamond White couture paint contrasted by some satin black elements. For the interior, the tuner combined blue leather with gray Alcantara. While these are the standard colors offered by the tuner, it also announced customers can opt for any imaginable color for both the exterior and the interior.

Kahn Design left all the under-hood bits alone and for good reason. With a 2.5-liter engine that abuses concrete with 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, the Focus RS is plenty fast from the factory.

Kahn Design offers a series of updates for the exterior that will further improve the car’s aerodynamic qualities. These updates include a new upper lower and front grille in satin black. For the rear, Kahn installed a new wing spoiler. To help the powerful four-pot cool off more effectively, Kahn also installed a set of hood vents.

The car sits on 19-inch Cosworth wheels painted in anthracite to help contrast the white exterior and to aid in handling.

As a bonus, the package comes equipped with the "56 RS" number plate, one of the most famous next to the 1 80, 4 HRH and the world famous F1 number plate.

Press Release

When the Ford Focus was launched in 1998, it became the class leader instantly and, since then rivals have come and gone with varying degrees of anonymity and success.

This time around, the most easily recommendable medium-sized family car follows A. Kahn Design’s unyielding British blueprint.

Covered in voluptuous Diamond White couture – the Ford Focus RS250 exerts a pull on the most discerning of individuals.

Upper lower and front grilles in satin black, Cosworth wheels (8.5 x 19) in anthracite, rear wing spoiler bonnet vents and side trims in satin black ensures a perfect synthesis of luxury and design.

Inside is the bespoke touch: an exclusive Recaro Interior in blue leather with grey Alcantara is further accented by stitching throughout.

As expected, the Ford Focus RS250 can be ordered in every imaginable colour. If you, for example, want a car with a full colour change (of your choice) and an interior akin to, let’s say your favourite leather reclining chair in your living room, we will be more than happy to oblige.

Furthermore, the 56 RS number plate certainly does not look out of place. It is one of many cherished number plates that sit proudly alongside 1 80, 4 HRH and the world famous F1 number plate. To view the entire collection, please click here.
