2010 Ford C-MAX

Ford will unveil at the Frankfurt Motor Show the next generation C-MAX, a model that is inspired by the iosis MAX concept car unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Sales will begin in the second half of 2010.

Departing from usual MAV thinking by using Ford’s ’kinetic design’ styling language to adopt a more dynamic passenger-car look, the new model features a coupé-like, sweeping roofline while still retaining the established Ford C-MAX hallmarks of comfort, space, and practicality.

The new C-MAX will be powered by an all-new 1.6-litre Ford EcoBoost direct injection petrol engine. It will be offered with semi-automatic parallel parking and a blind-spot detection system.

I barely see yellow cars, and I must say that it is already striking on that color and the car lines that it had, only emphasize the beauty that it had. I just wonder if what will be the interior of this one will look like.

By far this is the most convenient configuration that have to remove the center chair, creating a four-seater. I only wish that the individual chairs were more comfortable and supportive and that they could fold flat.

Looks great. That interior is amazing on the Grand C-Max. Too bad the Mazda5 looks that good. Maybe this could come over here. Better than any minivan here

Technically true, but in reality, the current C-Max is pretty small, while the Jazz/Fit is huge inside in terms of actual usable space. Overall they are pretty close size-wise and considering the rear seat folding mechanism, the Jazz might even come out on top in terms
of utility.

This model is a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine with petrol and diesel available to choose from.

Bring this thing to the U.S. and do it now. This looks like the perfect vehicle to wean Americans away from SUVs. For years the ignorant-as-a-whole American consumer has been led to believe that they need a 7000lb towing capacity just to bring home a couple of bags of groceries from the store.

Environmentally friendly too! Plus, I hate parallel parking. Good thing this beauty has a special offer for this. Something to try on the coming Frankfurt motorshow, well, that is if I can go there.

From a honda jazz looking car, the Ford made it an extraordinary hatchback city car. It really looks nice and catchy. I has the touch of a Ford Focus only smarter.

The Eco-boost direct injection I guess will a good buy for this small car. I think Ford’s line up have upgraded alot in preparation for the fuel emission regulation. A wise decision indeed.
