The special edition Ford Focus RS500 is already sold out, but if you want to buy more than just a simple RS, Ford is offering you an alternative: the MP350 package from Mountune Performance. Ford says that the MP350 package delivers the same engine modifications as those developed for the exclusive new limited edition Focus RS500. The MP350 package increases the total output from 305 PS to 350 PS, while torque rises by 20 Nm to 460 Nm. Engine modifications include: a larger intercooler, a larger air filter box, a larger diameter exhaust downpipe and an uprated fuel pump, along with an updated software calibration. This performance package is the only package approved by Ford and will not invalidate the warranty on the Focus RS. It is an ingenius idea that will allow owners of the Focus RS the upgrade in performance that made the RS500 so popular. Press release after the jump. Press release Owners and buyers of the current generation Ford Focus RS 305 PS superhatch can now access a Ford-approved performance upgrade package that boosts peak output to 350 PS and 460 Nm of torque. The engine modifications it provides are similar to those developed for the exclusive new limited edition Focus RS500 model and were developed by Ford’s Team RS powertrain engineers in partnership with Mountune’s performance specialists. 8 comments: Ford Focus RS by Mountune Its funny how Ford saves the best cars for Europe and were left with stupid mobiles. Don’t worry Ford I’m pretty sure North America can handle a fast hatchback.
I love how they combine white and black to this ford focus and the HB style of car makes it a competitor for impreza.
It’s a shame they don’t make it with AWD, it would be a beast with with it. it’s a limited edition anyway , i’m sure there are enough people who would pay extra for AWD.
Well that’s a good news, but i agree the custom kits should came from the dealer and they are the one who will install it for the waranty to preserve.
That was great! Good thing that even they’ve already tampered it’s part they still managed to keep the warranty. I’m pretty sure in order to maintain the warranty the tune up should be done inside the CASA.
That’s how good the RS500 are, the MP350 package is just focused on engine and not on the body kits and aero dynamic kits, I bet the price is much higher than the RS500.
