Courtesy of Whiteside Customs and Kalem Romero-Photography, this white Ford Mustang GT is one of the few examples that Texas-based aftermarket firm Whiteside Customs has in store for the eager and excited audience at the S.E.M.A Auto Show.

The canvas used by Whiteside Customs is a stock 2012 Ford Mustang GT that currently has been one of the most-modified platforms put on display by many of the manufacturers at the SEMA show.

This build features the usual set of modifications that has wowed people at the S.E.M.A Auto Show over the years, such as 6-piston front and 4-piston rear Willwood disc brakes, MBRP Performance exhaust system, MagnaCharger 2300 supercharger, Maximum Motorsports four-point bolt-in rollcage and BC Racing suspension, a coilover suspension featuring 30 levels of dampening adjustment and full ride-height adjustment. With these in tow, this ’Stang is ready to rock and roll the show floor and give the other custom muscle cars a run for their money.

Pros
Cons

Exterior

In terms of the exterior, it doesn’t feature any custom paint-jobs or parts unlike other examples, apart from the Shelby-inspired copper racing stripes and an eye-catching set of copper Forgeline SC3C Concave wheels wrapped in Michelin tires. It gives a clean look to the whole car while not giving away clues that it is hiding something powerful under the hood.

Engine

The stock car is powered by a 5.0L V8 engine that, in S.E.M.A terms, is under-powered. To solve that, Whiteside Customs has gone with a “Street Performance” kit that includes a 2300 MagnaCharger supercharger kit from Magnuson Products and a complete headers-to-tails exhaust system from MBRP.

To make it completely suitable for various challenging tracks, a Maximum Motorsports four-point bolt-in cage was installed to help stiffen up the structural integrity of the coupe whilst cornering or protection during a rollover.

Suspension and Braking

For perfect body-control and ride, a full Whiteline suspension with BC Racing coilovers that features 30 levels of dampening adjustment, full ride height adjustment, lightweight copper Forgeline Motorsports wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport have been custom fitted.

A car with great muscle power must need great stopping power. To cater that, 6-piston front discs and 4-piston rear discs are installed to help the car stop quicker than it normally does along with improved cornering capabilities with the help of the tweaked suspension.

Conclusion

Overall, this car is ready to turn to turn some serious heads and is capable of boosting Whiteside’s reputation in the field of car customization.
