German tuning company, Velocity, has always been a fan of American muscle cars and they've made quite a reputation as one of the up-and-coming tuners on the other side of the pond. At the 2011 Essen Motor Show->ke2128, Velocity will be on hand to live up to these expectations with their latest tuning project, one that involves Ford's very own Mustang GT.

Dubbed the Velocity Edition, this returned Mustang has been given a pretty unique and distinctive individualization program that features a plethora of customizations. The first thing you'll notice is the new vented hood, as well as a new trunk lid that appears to have been made using high-quality carbon. Other prominent additions on the Mustang GT include new KW coilovers that allow for precise setting of the ride height and adjustable for rebound and compression, a new set of 22" Giovanni 'Martuni' wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires, and finally, a new and bigger set of brake discs to ensure shorter braking distances for the American muscle car.

At the heart of Velocity's program for the Mustang is the engine modification, significantly bumping up the output of the muscle car. By installing a new Roush compressor unit, Velocity was able to drive up the output of the car's 5.0-liter V8 engine from 412 horsepower all the way up to 519 horsepower. On top of that, the tuning company also installed a new muffler unit, a new shifter lever, and an improved digital gear display.

Taking everything into consideration, the Mustang GT Velocity Edition comes at a price tag of €74,999, which is around $100,900 based on current exchange rates.
