2013 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet

It was only recently that we received all of the details for the 2012 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet , but spy photographers were still hungry for more so they were out on the hunt yet again. This time, they’ve caught the next generation Cobra Jet, due out in 2013, while it underwent some testing.

Anyone would have to be blind not to notice the giant ram air hood acting liked the flared nostril for the Mustang . Upon second look, one can see massive drag slicks stuffed in the rear wheel wells and special exhaust tips that spurt out their growl just behind the front wheel wells. From this, we can deduce that this new Cobra Jet will be a more powerful model with a sportier and more aggressive appearance.

For 2012, the Cobra Jet features a revised 5.4 liter DOHC supercharged aluminum block engine that delivers a total of 430 HP and is mated to a 3-speed C4 Auto Race transmission. It will be limited to 50 units, each priced at $91,900. We expect the 2013 model to come priced a bit higher, but with a similar limited run. We’ll get the official details as soon as they are released sometime in 2012.

UPDATE 12/02/2011: After seeing the entire 2013 Mustang line-up, Ford Racing parts has announced the official details on the 2013 Mustang Cobra Jet. Sorry to say, but I didn’t see this one as a muscled car! The looks and the platform of this is so unlike with well known oblique one. However, I can say that I am also impressed with its figure performance.

I hate all these ford mustang look a likes. Muscle has nothing on imports. Imports forever.

I saw one of these at my elementary school

Knowing that this is a muscle car, the speed performance of the car is already impressive and that’s equivalent to the performance of a sporstcar. And I would say that the 430 HP output really is something!

The supercharged engine doesn’t offers a high speed performance for the vehicle. And I guess the aluminum block engine just adds weight to the car!

The car feature is impressive in a way that people who want to dump them will surely see. This is the Ford’s proof that they can still manage to handle Mustang, even though it has less production now.

I just want to laugh at those who wants to kill this production! Just look at this car its quite impressive and its output power is high speed as well!

I really love this car! Although, Mustang is quite old model still Ford manage to offer new features and styling for this car. Its beauty is really timeless!

Ha, ain’t this one a surprise. I never though that they would actually develop a next generation Cobra Jet that fast. I think it was only a few months back when they first released this car.

Ford Mustang is indeed a huge icon in this industry. I was amazed by the giant ram air hood acting liked the flared nostril for the Mustang. I can’t wait to see it in the road side.

hmm. Only 430 horsepower output? It makes me wonder on what’s its difference from the 2012 version? I thought I could see a 500 hp for this model. Not interested!

Most probably the engine plans for this car would be similar to its predecessor since it will be using a supercharged and aluminum block engine. I hope i could see upgraded version on its features and less for the exterior.
