Ford->ke31 and DreamWorks Studios developed a one-of-a-kind Ford Mustang GT500 that will be featured in the upcoming "Need for Speed" movie. The model will make its world debut later today during Electronic Arts' press conference at E3 Expo in Los Angeles.

First details on this one-off "Need for Speed" Mustang->ke1359 reveal that it will feature a custom-designed wide body, a set of unique 22-inch alloy wheels and larger air intakes that will provide increased ventilation for the supercharged V-8 engine found under its classic Mustang twin-nostril hood. Of course, Ford will also offer a customized interior to fit with the "Need For Speed" theme.

The “Need for Speed” movie is based on Electronic Arts’ popular video game series and will star Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots and Michael Keaton.

The upcoming "Need for Speed" movie will arrive in theaters on March 14th, 2014.

Updated 11/12/13: Ford announced today that the one-off edition Mustang "Need for Speed" will be used as a pace car in the upcoming Ford EcoBoost 400 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway set to take place this week-end, November 15 to 17, 2013. The new GT500 is powered by a 5.4-liter V-8 engine that delivers a total of 662 horsepower, making it the most powerful, factory-made Mustang ever. The GT500 can hit a top speed of 190 mph.

On the U.S. market, a base GT500 is priced at is $54,200, but lots of customers are also opting for the SVT Performance Package which adds another $3,495 to the car’s final price.
