Wait, wasn’t it just a few days ago that Geiger Cars unveiled their Mustang Shelby GT640 "Golden Snake"? Now it’s become apparent that the tuning firm is out to even the score by releasing a package for the Mustang’s key competitor, the Chevrolet Camaro SS? Well, we guess that is one way to keep things balanced between the two sides of the muscle car fanatics. Geiger Cars’ package for the Camaro follows along the same lines as the package for the Mustang, but while the Mustang received a subtle gold exterior to highlight the modifications made, the Camaro is sourly eye-catching in this green exterior paint. Hideous as the color may be, the Camaro was also outfitted with a nice exterior package and can now scream down the road with its upgraded 564 HP. Exterior and Interior We can’t start discussing the exterior of this car without bringing up the giant elephant in the room; the color. Maybe we are focusing too much on that though. After all, the Camaro Synergy Special Edition was also green and that went over well with the crowd. The two vehicles even share the same black stripes, albeit in slightly different arrangements. Moving past the exterior hue, the Camaro Super Sport 564 HP by GeigerCars was decked out with an in-house spoiler kit consisting of a front spoiler lip, side skirts, and a remodeled rear part. The HP 564 sits on a new set of Geiger rims, size 9x22 inch in the front and 10.5x22 inch at the rear. Engine A standard Camaro SS is powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine that delivers a total of 432 HP. After modifying the ECU, adding a compressor kit, and a new stainless steel sport exhaust system, this same engine has now been tricked to deliver a total of 564 HP and a peak torque of 488 lbs-ft. With the extra 132 HP, the Super Sport HP564 will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.2 seconds and will be capable of hitting a top speed of 189 mph. Price If anyone is impressed by these performance numbers - and why shouldn;t you be? - you can order the car for a total price of 88,000 euro, or about $127,000 at the current exchange rates. The Competition Geiger Cars aren’t the only ones that were taken by the Camaro SS, so finding an alternate tuning package for the vehicle was rather simple. Just recently American tuner, Baldwin Motion, announced one of the most impressive update packages for the SS with power ranging from 525 to 800 HP. This package not only offered a killer engine update that makes Geiger’s work look infantile, but they also provided an exterior update that matches that of the Camaro by Geiger. 21 comments: Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport 564 HP by GeigerCars This one is really a competitive muscle car for me. The performance of the car is very impressive. Well, I do like the green theme; it looks so refreshing and fitted for summer.
 This Mustang really a competitive muscle car. The design and color combination scheme is just perfect with its green and touch of black. What’s even great here is the impressive update packages for the SS.
 The performance of the car is very impressive. I think the major competition of this car will be the Ford Mustang and the Dodge Viper. I also the finished edges of the car for it really look cool.
 hmm. The Chevrolet Camaro is quite an impressive production! The competition between the Ford Mustang and this car is quite tough! The features that is included in the package is amazing though I bet that color is not for everyone.
 This car looks like a BMW M6 PD550 that was modified by the Prior Design. However, talking about the performance of the car I think its power output is kind of impressive.
 I like the exterior package of this car and its more powerful compare to the traditional SS. Well, corner is the main problem with muscle car . And I just wonder if this car really have a output of 500 hp. BTW, I think it can boost its power on the straight line.
 Recently, I have noticed that Chevy Camaro has been releasing a more powerful muscle car. And I think 500 hp is kind of excessive for this car. However, I just wonder if this car still have a problem in the corner.
 Yeah, I would agree that it would be interesting to see a hybrid Camaro. But why did we end up talking about hybrid cars? Oh yeah, because this Camaro is green.
