2010 Honda Jazz SI

Contrary to what some people might say, the Honda Jazz looks a lot more like a chic car than a sporty one. Nevertheless, the Japanese-based automaker still decided to offer an SI version of the Jazz to make it more appealing to the young and young-at-heart market segments.

The SI version will be available in two different engine variants: a 1.2-liter and 1.4-liter engines, both of which will be mated to a manual transmission. The car will then go on sale beginning April 1st with a price tag of just £12,835 ($19,200).

The new Jazz SI is distinguished by a new set of16-inch Chronos alloy wheels, a chrome sports front grille and rear spoiler, and Honda’s SI branding on the Jazz’s boot lid and glove box.

Honda (UK) is introducing a sporty Si grade of its popular British-built supermini - the Jazz. The Jazz Si’s enhanced looks and stylish extra features should appeal to younger drivers who want their car to stand out from the crowd.

The Si option will be available across the Jazz model range - which first went on sale in 2008. The Si grade tops the 1.2-litre range, with features over and above the SE specification. In 1.4-litre Jazz models, the Si sits mid range, with specification over and above ES models. The Si is only available with a manual transmission.

The Jazz Si wears 16-inch Chronos alloys which set it apart from standard models. A chrome sports front grille and rear spoiler add to the sporty look. Stylish embroidered carpet mats and Si branding on the boot lid and glove box highlight the car’s high specification.

Customer feedback showed that younger Jazz owners were keen to stand out from the large number of other Jazz cars on the road. They preferred bigger wheels and enjoyed the additional stylish touches of the first generation Jazz Sport.

The Si grade has been launched in response to this, and combines sporty good looks with the Jazz’s fuel-sipping engine, low running costs, low emissions, value for money specification and C-sector space and practicality.

The Jazz is one of the UK’s most celebrated models, winning around 30 industry awards for reliability and customer satisfaction. Now built in Britain, Honda Associates will be ensuring that the Jazz maintains this level and continues to delight customers.

The Si grade is priced at an additional £870 over the 1.2 SE and 1.4 ES models, but offers nearly £2,000 worth of extra equipment.

This Honda vehicle really looks so perfect! Even though it doesn’t have lots of accessories and styling it still looks very admiring and attractive on its aesthetic design. Good thing as well that it has an impressive engine.

Well, Honda jazz SI is really having a simple style and platform but the appeal that it had been overwhelming, which is so impressive! I also love to see the interior features of it, if I’m given a chance. smiley

I have to agree on the article that it is more appealing to young like me and young-at-hearts. smiley I’m glad that the price of this Jazz SI is so reasonable. The glossy body paint of this car is very attractive.

Impressive exterior styling and design even the hygienic and decency look of it. I just wish that the engine that it had will be enough to make it a remarkable one.

Honda Jazz SI is almost perfect! It is really had a pretty design and the speed accuracy of it is really impressive.

Honda takes the civic into the next level, 2.0L with 197hp is a lot big difference than the previous one, plus Honda replace it’s engine with a high-rev one almost the same as the RX-’s high rev engine. so what will be the answer of Mazda to this new Civic?.

Kia forte is a Performer, Mazda 3 is for the show, and civic is for Fun.. so what do you need?

well Honda must placed this already into presentation, this is a good idea MPV and superior than the Honda Stream MUGEN.

Unlike the other car, honda prepared the interior of the car which the driver will find embroidered carpet mats and Si badges throughout and that’s really nice.

They have the a real performance brand with the Type-R and the more pedestrian models are called Si. After pulling the Mugen Si and canceling the S2000.

Honda put a lot of things here in the new CRV, specially the GPS tracking system that helps a lot to the driver to prevent loss of direction.

As honda released the latest model of Jazz, little by little it become a smaller version of Tarago.

Nothing so special with the jazz except fuel consumption, looks boring and not fit to last.

I Agree, much more appealing and ideal for young drivers specially for students and moms. But for me I’d still go for suzuki swift RS.

The car is very transparent from the outside you can see that it has a wide space inside.

Well, I know that it is not a sport car but the past version of the Honda Jazz, when given a few tuning upgrades and performance parts and accessories, it can look really cool and sporty. But for this one, it just plain shouts out that its an ordinary city car.
