Hummer announced today details on the 2010 H3 and H3T models. And there are some very "environmental-friendly" details. Both models will get E85 capability and new colors for the 2010 model year. The prices on the other hand remain the same as for the 2009 models. All 2010 Alpha series’ models will be powered by a 5.3L V8 Flex Fuel engine rated at 300 hp and 320 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to a Hydra-Matic 4L60 electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. Is not much of a green car, but according to James Taylor, Hummer CEO: "This is just the first step in HUMMER’s evolution to offer responsible, yet highly capable all-terrain vehicles. Future models will be lighter, more efficient and will continue to offer the best blend of off-road capability and on-road performance." Besides the new engine, the 2010 models will be offered with three new premium colors: Red Rock Metallic, Silver Stone Metallic, and Canyon Metallic. Press release after the jump. Press release HUMMER announced today updates to the 2010 HUMMER H3 and H3T midsize all-terrain vehicles including the addition of three new exterior colors and an available E85 Flex Fuel capable 5.3L V8 engine as part of its commitment to offer a biofuel powertrain in all body styles by 2010. Both H3-based vehicles will begin arriving in dealerships before the end of 2009 in North America. "In 2007, HUMMER committed to offer a biofuel powertrain in every vehicle by 2010 and follows through on that promise with the addition of a new 300-horsepower, E85 Flex Fuel capable 5.3L V8," says James Taylor, HUMMER CEO. "This is just the first step in HUMMER’s evolution to offer responsible, yet highly capable all-terrain vehicles. Future models will be lighter, more efficient and will continue to offer the best blend of off-road capability and on-road performance." HUMMER also continues to expand customer choice with the introduction of three new premium colors for 2010, which include Red Rock Metallic, Silver Stone Metallic, and Canyon Metallic. 12 comments: Hummer H3 and H3T SweetChevy (318) Posted on 12.13.2011 It doesn’t look great neither good on its front mounted. However, I’m still impressed on the massive appearance of this outdoor vehicle. Anyway, it’s a good thing that Hummer used a boost engine on it.
leezyking (500) Posted on 11.25.2011 Did they already put it on the market? I’m just quite curious about that because I never heard anything about it aside from this article. Anyway, I really love the massive appearance of it.
RacingStripes (488) Posted on 09.28.2011 I really love this kind of outdoor car, so ideal on adventures! I’m impressed because of its rugged looking appearance even with its muscular appearance. It seems bulky, that’s why I’m curious if it will not bring any difficulty on its figure performance.
Andy_Driscoll (339) Posted on 09.14.2011 Unlike the H3T, the 2010 H3’s price remains unchanged from 2009. The only changes is the addition of an E85 capable V8 engine that comes in the Alpha package, and the switch from a black bumper from a gray/silver bumper that was on 2008 and 2009 models.
Timotea_Bianchi (230) Posted on 07.28.2011 Hummer is a sports utility, so I doubt if it can reach the power output that a sports utility must have, since they told us that it is environment-friendly. This can also be used as a pickup or a muscle car, but they now used an electric engine. I doubt if it will be as powerful as we expect from Hummer.
albe_winston (1144) Posted on 05.9.2011 It seems that hummer H3 similar to its exterior outlook of the jeep model itself, Looking at its main front of the model car. Isn’t it?
Ken_rogers (363) Posted on 01.9.2011 I’m guessing the adhesive used wasn’t a proper high-temperature variant, since the hood is obviously subject to engine heat, unlike the windshield epoxy.
Ronald_james (355) Posted on 01.9.2011 Car makers are actually using adhesives to replace metal welds, so that is not really a big deal. Would have been better to not have that plastic thing on the hood in the 1st place.
Jonas_McDonell (251) Posted on 05.3.2010 Good looking, I really like the front lower facia and rims and that body kit really does wonders for an already car. Lovely to know what improvements that kit brings to the Renault Laguna that is blisteringly fast in stock condition.
rogermanalac (702) Posted on 02.16.2010 H3 is a great car that unfortunately it has received a negative perception of the gas guzzler, in australia we have a lot more 4wd that are worse than the H3. As an off the shelf 4wd it has awesome stats. I just hope that maybe the Chinese are smart enough to drop a diesel engine in the H3
Tommi_Mcrae (764) Posted on 01.17.2010 this is the best monster truck available to the market today, this is a good choice for rescue mission, fire truck and ambulance, but many are protesting to stop the production of HUMMER because of the fuel crisis and global warming.
