Hyundai->ke201 has unveiled today at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi the "Hexa Space" concept that previews a future family car aiming at young urban families in their 30s and 40s. The concept previews Hyundai's "New Thinking. New Possibilities" strategy that is based on the perfect use of the interior space.

The Hexa Space, codenamed HND-7, has been created using Hyundai's latest "Fluidic Sculpture" design language including the bold character lines on the side panels and a distinctive hexagonal grille. On the interior the concept features eight slim, hexagonally shaped seats that fit together like puzzle piece. The center seats can fold flat for greater comfort while the second row folds flat to create a limousine function.

The concept has been built on the ix20 platform and measures 4,300 mm long, 1,820 mm wide and 1,647 mm high. Under the hood Hyundai has placed a Kappa 1.2-liter turbo GDI engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
