Hyundai->ke201 launched the Veloster->ke2534 on the North American market and since then, the model continued nearly unchanged. The only changes included the launch of a Turbo version and a Turbo R-Spec model.

The Veloster will again carry over as it enters the 2014 model year, as the model returns practically unchanged. The only mods for 2014 include a standard rearview camera, standard driver’s blind-spot monitor and standard daytime running lights.

Just like in the past, the Veloster combines an incredibly sporty look with well-placed performance capabilities in one of the most affordable sports coupes out there. What's even cooler about the Veloster is that when looked from one side, it looks like any other coupe, but the other side features a third door that makes rear access easier.

For the 2014 model year, Veloster is priced from $17,800.

Exterior

The Veloster draws inspiration from a high-performance sport bike and combines it with Hyundai's "Fluidic Sculpture" design language, giving it a muscular and powerful stance. The distinctive black A-pillars give it the appearance of a motorcycle helmet visor. Around back, a set of center-mounted exhaust tips also look like they were pulled straight from the back end of a sport bike.

Along with these elements, the Veloster also features Hyundai’s signature hexagonal front grille, hood scoop detailing and the unique LED position lights.

A very unique feature on the Veloster is that rear-hinged door on the passenger side of that provides safe and easy access to the rear seats.
