Hyundai HED-6 ix-ONIC Concept

Hyundai is getting curvier with the next generation of the Tucson. The teaser image we saw last week, was a taste of the concept car that will be at the Geneva Motor Show.

Hyundai calls it the HED-6 ix-ONIC Concept, but it’s know to be the car that will occupy the lowest rung on Hyundai’s SUV ladder. It’s rumored that the design shown in Geneva will almost be production-ready. The concept will be powered by a new 1.6-liter engine that delivers 173 hp and has low emissions.

In Europe, the car will be called iX35, which is in keeping with Hyundai’s new tradition there of beginning its cars wit the letter "i". No word yet bout if the name will change in North America.
