The seven Maserati brothers;Alfieri Maserati, Bindo Maserati, Carlo Maserati, Ettore Maserati, Ernesto Maserati and Mario Maserati were born in Voghera to Rodolfo Maserati, a train driver, and his wife Carolina Losi.The oldest, Carlo, was born in 1881. The youngest was born in 1898. All of the brothers loved cars, engineering and design, except Mario, who was born in 1890. He became a painter and its probable that the created the Maserati logo, the Trident.

In the beginning of the 20th century US vehicle manufacturers where using as power sources gasoline, electricity and steam evenly. Soon they have realized that two or more power means can be combined for increased efficiency. As a proof of that the first hybrid vehicle (using gasoline and electric power) was registered in 1905 by an American engineer. The invention did not receive much attention at that time as regular gasoline engines were cheaper and offered the same performance. Only 70 years later, during the oil crisis the, fuel efficiency matter was resurrected and hybrid car research begun again. Prohibitive costs have delayed the market launch of hybrid cars for another good 30 years. But nowadays vehicles like Toyota Prius or Honda Accord Hybrid are quite common. Is this to be the future of the car?! Let’s have a closer look!

According to the Classic Car Club of America a Classic car is a "fine" or "distinctive" automobile, either American or foreign built, produced between 1925 and 1948. They are also sometimes called "Full Classics," or just plain "Classics" (with a capital "C"). Generally, a Classic was high-priced when new and was built in limited quantities. Other factors, including engine displacement, custom coachwork and luxury accessories, such as power brakes, power clutch, and "one-shot" or automatic lubrication systems, help determine whether a car is considered to be a Classic.

A flexible fueled vehicle (FFV) has a single fuel tank, fuel system, and engine. The vehicle is designed to run on unleaded gasoline and an alcohol fuel (usually ethanol) in any mixture. The engine and fuel system in a flex-fuel vehicle must be adapted slightly to run on alcohol fuels because they are corrosive. There must also be a special sensor in the fuel line to analyze the fuel mixture and control the fuel injection and timing to adjust for different fuel compositions. The flex-fuel vehicle offers its owner an environmentally beneficial option whenever the alternative fuel is available.

Blind spots, in the context of driving an automobile, are the areas of the road that cannot be seen while looking forward or through either the rear-view or side mirrors. Blind spots can be eliminated by overlapping side and rear-view mirrors, or checked by turning one’s head briefly, or by adding another mirror with a larger field of view. Detection of vehicles or other objects in blind spots may also be aided by systems such as video cameras or distance sensors, though these are not common in automobiles sold to the general public.
