Audi just dropped the revised 2014 R8 on the market and the German tuner Regula Tuning already found an extreme way to update it.
The kit is entirely made in carbon fiber and completely transforms the look of the R8 , even though the updates are limited just to a new front and rear apron, and a new set of side skirts.
The kit checks in at &euro7,850 — about $10,500 at the current exchange rates — and it can be applied to both the coupe and roadster versions, and all the engine variations.
No changes were made under the hood, but we think that what Audi is offering from factory is quite enough. In case you forgot, the R8 Spyder is powered by a 5.2-liter, V-10 engine that delivers a total of 525 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 391 pound-feet of torque at 6,500 rpm. This output is enough to sprint the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and up to a top speed of 193.25 mph.

Russian tuner Larte Design may not be a household name on the tuning scene, but that hasn’t hampered the company from dishing out a new program in attempt to gain more recognition front the public and the industry.
It’s latest work is based on the Range Rover Evoque and despite not being a jaw-dropper at first glance, the kit does still include a variety of aesthetic and performance modifications
A new wide body kit was install, featuring a new honeycomb grille and large air intakes in the front apron. The kit also has a redesigned rear apron, a centrally-mounted triple exhaust system, and a set of gloss-black, 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels. Additionally, the Evoque’s suspension was tuned to drop the SUV by 30 mm (1.18 inches).
Meanwhile, power comes in the form of a 2.2-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 190 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to Larte Design, the Evoque saw its output increase to 220 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.
The modifications are simple, but ultimately, effective to give the SUV a serious upgrade in style, attitude, and flair.

Most of you are starting to think about what to buy to your loved ones, while folks in Germany are getting a good look at cool things to buy their cars at the Essen Motor Show. At this show, the major tuners of Germany, and not only, will display their best kits developed over the years, plus a series of new ones specially created for the show.
Like Lorinser did with this upgrade did based on the new Mercedes S-Class . The kit unveiled at the Essen Motor Show was based on the S550 version, but we’re pretty sure all the other variants will get similar treatments.
A base S550 is powered by a 4.6-liter, V-8 engine that delivers a total of 455 horsepower, but Lorinser managed to squeeze another 75 horses from the powerful engine. With a total of 530 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, the Lorinser S550 will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds and up to 155 mph.

A highlight of the 2013 Essen Motor Show is the TUNE IT! SAFE! car and this year, the Association of German Vehicle Tuners (VDAT) has introduced the BMW 4 Series -based ACS4 2.8i Coupe.
The Bimmer coupe was worked on by AC Schnitzer, hence the familiar nomenclature, and comes with a steady diet of aftermarket upgrades that would make the the Police and the Federal Ministry for Transport, Construction and Road Development really proud.
It’s an extensive project, just like previous TUNE IT! SAFE! models and appropriate for an event like Essen. The ACS4 2.8i Coupe comes with a number of new aero components from AC Schnitzer, including a front and rear spoiler, a rear roof spoiler, and a rear diffuser. Adding to those new items to the exterior are a new set of 21-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Hankook 245/30ZR21 Ventus S1 evo tires and an adjustable race-spec suspension that not only lowers the height of the coupe by 25 mm (0.98 inches) but also gives it improved stability in the event the police car is used for law-enforcing purposes.
For the interior, AC Schnitzer continued with its functional modifications on the 4 Series Coupe. None of the upgrades will blow your socks off, but for what they’re worth, the new floor mats, key holder, and aluminum gear knob, foot rest, handbrake handle, and pedal set all represent upgrades in their own right.
Under the hood of this specially-prepared 4 Series Coupe, AC Schnitzer did a sizable performance bump, increasing the output of the sports car ’s 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine from 245 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque, all the way up to 294 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. With these new numbers, the sports coupe can now hit 62 mph in 5.7 seconds, 50 to 112 mph in 12.7 seconds. Top speed is still limited to 155 mph, though, so that’s a little disappointing.

The Lamborghini Veneno hit the scene to a relatively lukewarm reception at best, but the lack of media and enthusiast frenzy sure didn’t stop it from planning a roadster version. The new Veneno Roadster was unveiled this past weekend, and there are few differences between it and the coupe model.
The typical roadster has a top that the driver can raise and lower at his demand, but the Veneno is no typical car. Instead, Lamborghini opted to hack the top off altogether.
In terms of overall design, the Veneno Roadster looks nearly identical to its coupe brother, so it retains that crazy exterior look, with exception to it lack of a roof.
Unlike the coupe versio, which was limited to just three units, Lamborghini will limit the new Veneno Roadster to nine units. Each will carry a price tag of $4.5 million.
Update 12/2/2013: The $4.5 million Veneno recently made its public debut in Abu Dhabi. The venue for the unveiling was something out of a Hollywood movie scene. That would be, an aircraft carrier. "We are honoured that Lamborghini was chosen to represent the Italian car industry in the UAE, as a perfect example of iconic Italian super sports cars, and that we have the opportunity to show the Veneno roadster for the first time in Abu Dhabi," said Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann during the press conference.

Since the unveiling of the LaFerrari and F12berlinetta , the 458 Italia has become a little outdated, so to speak. Sure, it still holds plenty of value in the market, but it just feels dated now. Well, at the 2013 Frankfurt International Motor Show in September, Ferrari plans to debut a concept that it based on the 458 to not only bring the model back into light, but to also showcase future technology for the automaker.
Dubbed the Ferrari 458 Speciale, this model takes the impressive performance credentials that the 458 Italia already features and cranks the dial way up. A nice and healthy boost in output partners up with active aerodynamics and traction modifications to make this the most capable Ferrari road car to grace a track. It’s just too bad that this specific model will never make its way to production
So, what can we expect to see from Ferrari in the coming years?
Update 8/22/2013: Ferrari has just released a preview video of this awesome concept. You can see the video above.
Update 9/10/2013: The new 458 Speciale made its world debut today at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. As expected, the official release came with the full specifications figures, including top speed and Fiorano times. Check them out after the jump. There are also three new video for you to enjoy!
Update 12/02/2013: Ferrari unveiled a new video (above), featuring the most powerful version in the 458 lineup. This video gives you an on-board look at the 458 Speciale with test driver Raffaele De Simone behind the wheel. Enjoy!

As with the previous years, Hyundai used New York’s Comic-Con to unveil a new zombie machine. A new, strange-looking Santa Fe joined a very long list of Zombie Survival models, including the recently launched Elantra Coupe and Veloster .
The new Santa Fe Zombie machine was designed by Anson Kuo from Arizona — a fan selected from more than 82,500 submissions. The car he designed was developed by Galpin Auto Sports, and it was on displayed at the New York Comic-Con show floor on October 10th.
The car that Kuo rolled out featured knife blades, an automatic crossbow, razor-wired windows, three machine guns, a samurai sword, aluminum armor and a muffler silencer. Thanks to all these weapons, the Santa Fe becomes a real zombie killer. Also, his Santa Fe features lots of cargo space for supplies and passengers.
