After an existence of almost 20 years, Infiniti will go on the European market for the first time. Debut will be made in March at the Geneva Motor Show. In the same time, Infiniti will unveil the second generation of the iconic FX performance crossover.
Infiniti will also unveil the rest of its line-up of performance cars, tailored for the European market: the V6 powered G Sedan, G coupe and EX coupe crossover. This portfolio of products will be launched across Europe, together with the second generation FX, from October 2008.
Infiniti will launch a new ’new type of hybrid’ powertrain in its new FX SUV sometime next decade. This new system will enable the electric motor to continue to assist the petrol engine at higher speeds and for sustained periods, offering significant fuel savings on the highway and motorways.

The Infiniti FX, Infiniti’s dramatic premium crossover SUV, enters the 2007 year with minimal changes after a major 2006 upgrade. Interior refinements include a new seat belt reminder system and available iPod accessory.

The FX45 is a midsize SUV offered in one trim level (AWD). The long standard features list is highlighted by full leather seating and trim, power eight-way driver and front-passenger seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, HID headlights, 20-inch aluminum wheels and an in-dash six-disc CD changer.
The Infiniti FX35 aims to please those who seek on-road thrills and, when needed, all-weather capability — should you feel the desire to scale rocky trails and seek wildlife, look elsewhere. As a bridge between a luxury sedan and a true SUV, the FX35 shares a platform with the Infiniti G35, has a four-wheel independent suspension tuned for handling on pavement and lacks a low-range transfer case. Its relatively low-slung stance, raised rear deck lid and 18-inch wheels give it a more aggressive look than most other crossover SUVs.
