The letter “I” features a red insert representing sporty spirit, while the Infiniti-violet “shadow” behind the letter appears like an Infiniti flag to indicate the brand’s Inspired Performance promise. The new model will be distinguished by a dramatic front and rear bumper/fascia design with integrated fog lights and black finishers, sculpted side sills, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tips, but also exclusive 19-inch IPL split 7-spoke graphite-finish wheels. It joins the Infiniti line of performance luxury vehicles at Infiniti retailers nationwide in December. The Infiniti Performance Line, or IPL, offers a new level of premium performance for Infiniti vehicles, focusing not just on engine power and acceleration, but also on redefining total vehicle performance. The 2011 IPL G Coupe is the first of what is expected to be a range of IPL performance vehicles in the future. “IPL was conceived to create a new premium performance envelope, going beyond equipment upgrades to accelerate the very soul of Infiniti’s Inspired Performance,” said Infiniti Vice President Ben Poore. “IPL brings all the elements together, styling harmonized with performance, exhaust note with acceleration feel, ride comfort and confident handling. It’s the perfect formula for unmatched driving exhilaration.” About the IPL G CoupeThe 2011 IPL G Coupe builds on the foundation of the second-generation Infiniti G Coupe rear-wheel drive model with extensive modification throughout the vehicle. The IPL G Coupe’s unique exterior includes a dramatic front and rear bumper/fascia design with integrated fog lights and black finishers, sculpted side sills, rear spoiler and chrome exhaust tips. Each part is shaped to accent the G Coupe’s aggressively seductive styling. Combined with the exclusive 19-inch IPL split 7-spoke graphite-finish wheels and low-profile W-rated Bridgestone Potenza RE50A performance tires, the IPL G Coupe projects a confident stance and road-ready attitude. The inspiring swell of sound is in complete harmony with the acceleration feel as engine speed increases,” said Poore. “The sound is clean and inspiring, adding to the fun-to-drive sensation provided by the 348 horsepower under the hood.” 26 comments: Infiniti IPL G Coupe zitkathet08 (586) Posted on 11.18.2011 I’m so impressed with the angst of its front headlight, and I notice that the other feature of it is only looking very simple and ordinary. However, I’m still glad that it had an impressive engine output.
GoldenBullet (356) Posted on 11.3.2011 I only noticed that the front headlight of this coupe is oozing with angst, and just like them, I also love the aesthetic design of this one even the interior of it, is very impressive on it.
Veyron101 (563) Posted on 10.28.2011 In spite of having a simple styling, I can say that I’m so glad that it had a such an impressive interior features and amenities. Furthermore, I think the engine that it had is not enough for this one.
Durante_Milano (220) Posted on 10.12.2011 It looks so simple and ordinary on its platform and to its other detailing, but I must say that I am really so fond with the angst that was expressing of its headlights. Anyway, I would love to see also the interior of this one.
Dave_Barney (412) Posted on 10.7.2011 Well, this coupe had only a simple platform but very appealing and great choice of background! It is really appealing on that but I must say that I love the boyish and muscular appearance of it.
Silver_Lingio (205) Posted on 10.5.2011 I simply love and impressed with the interior of this IPL G Coupe it looks so luxurious and comfortable. Anyway, the exterior seems so ordinary and simple on its platform design, but I still find it very appealing.
AstonVantag3 (348) Posted on 09.15.2011 What an angst front headlights! It seems so alive, but I noticed that it had lousy wheels and boring body paint, but the interior seems so entertaining.
Empi_rador (391) Posted on 09.12.2011 The design of the frond headlights of this coupe gives the angst look of this IPL G and the styling and the platform of it is not impressive at all.
Lilia_Endrizzi (387) Posted on 08.2.2011 I’m sure it has the special features, and I’m looking forward to that thing. I do like the look of the car and the spacious interior. The whole package of the car is really great. This is surely a big market sale if ever.
Phe_Rari (404) Posted on 06.2.2011 Definitely dude. I actually love its body paint and I hope I can get through of its interiors too. Do you have any specifications or special features added in here?
Bent_Lee (323) Posted on 02.9.2011 This brand will be offered in just two exterior colors: Graphite Shadow and Malbec Black. This is a great choice of colors.
albe_winston (1144) Posted on 12.3.2010 Chassis tweaks involve 20-percent stiffer springs in front, 10-percent firmer springs in back, new shocks, and a sportier steering rack.
Marcus_Woods (535) Posted on 11.15.2010 Do you realize that Hyundai released the Genesis Coupe well after the G37 was on the market, right?
Joewaldner (571) Posted on 11.8.2010 The wheel gap and ground clearance on this thing made me laugh.
inigo_montoya (867) Posted on 11.5.2010 I drive a G37S Coupe and I must say that this IPL model is rather ugly. The additional body work makes it look cheap, and it does not flow well from front to back. In addition to that Infiniti is using the same red seats and front bumper from the "Anniversary Edition". Doesn’t this make the AE not so special after all? The wheels are too busy as well. I do like two things: (1) 18 more ponies and 6 ft lbs of torque. (2) They put fog lamps where fog lamps should be. I hoped they would be more form fitting when Infiniti finally decided to put them there, but oh well.
Tommi_Mcrae (764) Posted on 11.4.2010 The first gen FX series looks great and its design is timeless. The second gen is one of the ugliest SUV on the road today.
Tom_Guts (387) Posted on 10.28.2010 The whole idea of trickle down economics is entirely false. Giving the rich more money does not help anyone but the rich.
Ping_Guererro (939) Posted on 10.23.2010 Well, this one ’s looking good. Certainly something that you want to take a peek at if you are looking for a good coupe.
