2012 Infiniti G

When Infiniti unveiled the Essence Concept at the Geneva Motor Show they had announced that the concept would be a preview of the company’s future design language. And while the Infiniti M was the first one to speak that design language fluently, there are rumors stating that the next generation G is going to be the next one to feature the Essence language. The Infiniti G will be revealed in 2012 which is a pretty strange decision considering the G37 has just received a small facelift.

Another rumor flying around the next G is that it will be powered by the same 3.5-liter hybrid combination from the currentInfiniti M35 that develops around 360 HP. That is, if it doesn’t follow the concept closely enough to borrow its 592 hp petrol-electric hybrid engine. Of course, taking the new Renault-Nissan-Daimler alliance into consideration, a diesel hybrid is also a possibility.

The color is absolutely great! It is unusual but it fits the car well, maybe a white set of wheels will give it more swag.

I think it would be better if the color of this is black or blue. I’m not against with green, but I think it didn’t suit for this car.

I’m also impressed with green cars, but I don’t know if I’m going to impressed with this one, well sorry to say but I don’t like the platform that it had. Sure, it is a convertible one but I found it lousy.

I love the car lines and the front headlights of this convertible car. It had so much angst, which is impressive enough, but they are right that the interior seems to bore.

Well, I think it will still looks great in any color. smiley I just don’t find that the interior is impressive instead I found it so boring.

Has anyone heard if Nissan Corp has green-lit an all new Infiniti Q45? Such an incredible car when it was first launched then if faded into obscurity. A modern day Q45 would be great.

So what car does this new G competing with?

Forget the 240sx, just make a new Z. Also, I like this concept I would push back the refresh to 2013 though.
