Bad guys, watch out! The new Jaguar XF Diesel S is under patrol! Seven Jaguars were chosen by the Central Motorway Police Group to patrol in Staffordshire, Mercia and the West Midlands. The Jaguar was chosen due to its fuel economy (42mpg), CO2 rating (179 g/km), and residual value retention (80% after 1 year/14K and 45% after 3 years/60K).

The police car features: roof mounted light bar with 3600 blue flashing lights and integrated side alley lights, blue and white flashing LED lights inside the front grille, side mounted blue flashing LED lights, blue and red flashing LED lights integrated in the rear light clusters and a Home Office-specification electronics 'Police pack'. Yeah, that's a lot of lights.

The Jaguar XF Diesel S is powered by a 3.0-liter AJ-V6D Gen III diesel engine that delivers 275 hp. The Diesel S accelerates from 0-60mph in just 5.9 seconds, while top speed is limited to 155 mph.

The residents of the Midlands should look out for this impressive new police cruiser, not that anyone could miss it!
