2011 Jaguar XFR Stratstone Le Mans

Owning a Jaguar carries with it an exclusivity all by itself, but when you own a special limited edition Jaguar, then the exclusivity mark jumps up another 100 notches. Well, Jaguar enthusiasts, get ready to claw your way to that type of distinctiveness. Jaguar teamed up with UK’s leading luxury automotive retailer, Stratstone, to unveil the special edition XFR Stratstone Le Mans, limited to only 50 units. Pricing for the luxury vehicle has yet to be announced, but what we do know is that Jaguar will be supporting the Royal British Legion with a donation of £5,000 from the sales of the Stratstone Le Mans model.

The XFR Stratstone Le Mans special edition is distinguished by a black front grille with a color-coded grille surround, chrome finish twin bonnet louvers with supercharged script, and 20" gloss black wheels with Jaguar R brakes and red center caps. The interior gets personalized sill plaques, embossed leather headrests, a gear selector carrying the Stratstone Le Mans emblem, as well as piano black veneer with a dark mesh aluminum dash and soft grain leather.

Under the hood there will be a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine that delivers 510 HP and sprints the car from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and up to a top speed limited to 155 mph.

Not only will owners of the Jaguar XFR Stratstone Le Mans own a bit of Jaguar exclusivity, but they will also get a chance to watch the 79th annual Le Mans 24 hour race live in June 2011.

Full details in the press release after the jump.

Press Release

Stratstone Jaguar has pledged to donate up to £5,000 to the Royal British Legion, raised through the sale of its limited edition Jaguar XFRs.

The announcement was made in the week that Stratstone dealerships across the UK commenced the first customer deliveries of the strictly limited exclusive models.

Only 50 of the Jaguar Stratstone Le Mans Limited Edition will ever be built and Stratstone dealerships across the UK are already reporting exceptionally strong demand for the special edition. Available in Polaris White and Midnight Black, the strikingly styled 5.0 litre supercharged V8 XFR model, with its aggressive styling and muscular stance, has been given an extensive makeover by Stratstone.

A keen corporate supporter of the Royal British Legion and its work, Stratstone has pledged to donate £100 for every special edition XFR model sold nationwide to support the 2010 Poppy Appeal.

Given the unprecedented levels of interest in the XFR, Stratstone expects to achieve its £5,000 fundraising target within the next couple of weeks.

Stratstone’s managing director, James Brearley, said, “The Limited Edition is the definitive sporting saloon and no detail has been spared.

“Already deemed a future classic, demand for this iconic model is exceptionally high which is great news for this year’s Poppy Appeal, a very worthy cause given the almost daily news of the sacrifices our service men and women are making in Afghanistan.”

In addition to supporting the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, purchasers of the XFR Stratstone Le Mans Limited Edition will also have the opportunity to join over 200 like-minded Stratstone customers for the 79th annual Le Mans 24 hour race in June 2011.

Well, actually the grille reminds me of the Maserati. And Colby_Brian, i don’t think that this car is kind of hot. Nothing is outstanding in this car.

Hot Jaguar! That’s all I can say. Judging from its exterior. Each Jaguar fans are excited to take home this amazing car.

This typically deemed a future classic, demand for this iconic model is exceptionally high which is great news for this year’s Poppy Appeal,It looks cute for the chubbiness and the image that will surely like the style.

A donation edition and that’s all. I like it but I would really have a different idea of making a special edition. In fact I would give it a Speed Pack or some more engine and exhaust changes to provide even more power like for example Paramount Performance already offers.

This type of model cars is old version and existed years gone by,it is beautiful which is a a good designs with very smooth and very effective to use while traveling as proven years before and because of this you can say that it is great model even the new generation was already existed.

If the xf-r is the equivalent to what the old R models were in the jaguar line then the chrome trim pieces will be black.

As close as to production as that model is I’m pretty sure Jag will "pretty up" the final model come official release time.

for a very worthy charity too....it would make me part with my hard earned cash if i were in the market for a car like that.. i applaud you Stratstone.

Now that’s a very very stylish car. I applaud you Stratstone.

I think 600bhp is enough to make XFR more special.

That was so generous for them..but yeah i agree they should use that generosity as a form of advert..
