2014 Jaguar XFR Sportbrake

  Review

Now that Jaguar has officially announced the new XF Sportbrake what would you think about a XFR Sportbrake version? We are pretty sure that this will be Jaguar’s next step and today we have a rendering for you that might help you make a pretty good idea on how the XFR Sportbrake will look like.

Just like with the XF-R sedan the Sportbrake version will be featuring a more aggressive look thanks to a new front grille, a new hood, modified front fenders, redesigned LED taillights and a special exhaust system with four end pipes.

Under the hood Jaguar will place the same 5.0-liter V8 engine in its supercharged version that will deliver a total of 510 HP. Of course the Sportbrake won’t be as fast as the sedan version, but expect to see a 0 to 60 mph sprint time kept in the 5.0 seconds area.

You should expect the new XFR Sportbrake by the end of 2013.

If I were to ask, they should stick with the XF Sportbrake. Why need to create one if it’s already good at this point?

It’s not even powerful like a sports car should be.

I actually love its appearance, but not its lengthy figure, and I hope it’s pretty much understandable why.

It’s ironic how it is baptized as Sportbrake when it doesn’t have the specifications of a sporty vehicle. It’s more sided on the fashionable appearance.

So this is the one I’ve accidentally spotted! You guys have to see it personally. It’s looking much majestic; it’s actually dazzling.

This brand is known for sedans and this model won’t be that sporty at all. Let us see what it takes for it to sell well despite the difference. smiley

I really love vibrant paint jobs and vivid LEDs. I don’t care if everything else looks plain, the overall style of this is perfect. Talking about speed, it’s enough to be considered sporty!

I don’t think this is supposed to be fast anyway. Most lengthy cars are dependable in terms of stability and capability to withstand expeditions. The LED tail lights shine vividly against the elegant purple paint.

It’s really looking flashy and flamboyant sporting that glossy purple paint. The record of performance is impressive too, so what’s with these quality and reliability issues?

I totally agree with TominNH. It’s pretty obvious that they worked hard on thinking about the exterior’s concept, but they should pay more attention to its performance and reliance.
