Jeep Patriot EV made its debut today at the Detroit Auto Show, next to the Dodge Circuit EV. The Jeep Patriot EV combines the electric-drive components of an Electric Vehicle with a small gasoline engine and integrated electric generator to produce additional energy to power the electric-drive system when needed.  The Jeep Patriot EV uses an electric-drive motor, advanced lithium-ion battery system and a small gasoline engine with an integrated electric generator to produce additional energy to power the electric-drive system when needed. Range-extended Electric Vehicles provide customers a no-compromise means of dramatically reducing their gasoline use and carbon footprint. 2008 Jeep Patriot Back Country Concept
Built on the newest Jeep Patriot Limited model, the Jeep Patriot Back Country concept, created by Mopar will make its world debut at the Paris Auto Show.  On the exterior, the concept features a Roof Top Cargo Basket, a blackened B-pillar“BACK COUNTRY EDITION” badge on the driver and front passenger doors, a platinum chrome light bar, 18-inch wheels and tires.  At the interior Mopar added a variety of textures and materials not typically found in production vehicles and sleek colors of Dark Slate Gray, Optic Green and satin chrome. Jeep revealed today details on the 2009 Patriot upgrades. The biggest news for this little Jeep is the interior revision that promises to give a much-needed quality look.  For 2009, Jeep Patriot features an all-new redesigned instrument panel, center console with split lid for added storage space and door trim panels. The all-new instrument panel features a smoother look while chrome accents brighten the new round heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) vents, shift bezel, door spears and cluster rings.  The all-new center console and door trim panels feature padded armrests for added comfort. New LED-illuminated cup holders make it easier to place beverages in the right spot at night. All 2009 Jeep Patriot models include standard brake traction control, driver-controlled three-mode ESP, Brake Assist, Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM) and Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with rough-road detection. UK debut for the 2008 Startech Jeep Patriot
Unveiled back in September, the 2008 Startech Jeep Patriot is now available in the UK. Jeep offers a new body kit for its well-known Patriot but also new suspension kit and 20” alloy wheels. The new tuning kit consists in a Startech chrome grille, new front bumper, side sills, re-designed rear bumper, exhaust tailpipe cover and Startech logo for the rear of the vehicle. The interior also receives some customization like the chrome loudspeaker rings, gear knob, illuminated entrance panels and aluminium pedal pads.
