The 45th Moab Easter Jeep Safari isn’t scheduled until April 16, 2011, but even this early, Jeep is already giving us a look at what to expect when the annual event commences in a little over a week’s time. The annual tradition for Jeep and Chrysler’s aftermarket company Mopar has become a must-attend event for Jeep and Mopar fans alike. This year, the event is going to have six new concepts, including the monstrous and imposing Jeep Wrangler Blue Crush. In what Jeep describes as an off-terrain monster that combines “high-speed off-road racing and rock-crawling capability," the Wrangler Blue Crush’s powertrain is anything but a tweeting little bird. Sitting under the utility vehicle’s hood is a Mopar 426 cubic-inch HEMI V8 engine with an output of 540 horsepower and mated to a 545RFE performance transmission and a gear-drive transfer-case. Apart from the hulking engine and powerful performance capabilities, the Blue Crush also sports a baja-style full cage, short aluminum bumpers, a special off-road suspension system with internal bypass shocks, a front stabilizer bar, full hydro-steering, and in case you haven’t noticed yet, a set of 39” tires that are as imposing as they are useful in allowing the off-road vehicle to navigate rocky and uneven terrains. There’s absolutely nothing cute and funky about this beastly off-roader. The Jeep Wrangler Blue Crush means serious business. 16 comments: Jeep Wrangler Blue Crush Nevertheless, I have a bad feeling about how it would actually perform. This one seems to be quite unstable, since it is a bit too long and high.
 Yeah! Those wheels are really cool on this! Well, it’s a good thing as well that it has a powerful and very efficient engine which is so suited for this vehicle. However, I think I need to be a long-legged person to climb inside it.
 Wow! This is absolutely beyond so awesome! I’m really amused with its massive wheels, and I’m glad that it also has an impressive engine output which could truly give a nice performance on it.
 No wonder that it had a rock-crawling capability! I’m so impressed with the figure performance of it, V8 engine with 540 horsepower can surely give a great performance on it. I did not find it a cute outdoor car but I must say that it is the most muscular and the first skeleton top that I saw today.
 Yeah, I think the asset of a truck is its tires! I really love those wheels! No wonder why they are the best option when it comes to off road adventure.
 This truck seems to be taller compared with other wrangler version. However, talking about the performance I think this one is a bang! BTW, I like its tyres seems to be reliable.
 Jeep Wrangler Blue Crush is definitely take you off in the road, It shows that this must be a big enemy for the competitors.
 Definitely a great looking ride, but this one would be useless for us city dwellers. Just imagine the amount of gas this thing would consume everyday.
 Indeed, those wheels will surely roll quite easily over any rock. And I think that they already have the stability issues covered with the suspensions.
