The Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah is the perfect setting for Jeep->ke40 to introduce a slew of its new concepts->ke169. This year, a handful of new Jeep models are scheduled to be unveiled, one of which is the Wrangler->ke425 Level Red, so named because it refers to the highest level of difficulty an off-road trail can be designated.

One look at the 2014 Wrangler Red Level and you immediately understand why its been named as such. It's got a sleek Pitch Black exterior that's heavily accented with a TorRed graphic stripe that runs from the top of the hood and down the body sides. An under-bumper skid plate was also added to provide more protection to the Wrangler. sensitive bits under the hood

Speaking of under-hood bits, this Wrangler is not bone-stock under there either. It received a cold-air intake kit, a low-restriction exhaust, 4.10-to-1 ratio Jeep Performance Parts Dana 44 crate axles on the front and rear, a Jeep Performance Parts Rock-Trac transfer case with a 4-to-1 low range for slow and steady off-road driving and a 73-to-1 crawl ration for really aggressive off-road craziness.

The Wrangler Red Level also comes with a cameo appearance from Mopar, courtesy of a half-door kit that adds to all the other exterior goodies, including a prototype Jeep Performance Parts tire carrier, a locking gas cap, a hood prop kit and Jeep Performance Parts rock rails.

Jeep Wrangler Level Red in detail

Look a little closer at the front and rear sections of the Wrangler Red Level and you're going to notice that Jeep fitted both ends with “Rubicon 10th Anniversary” bumpers. Just behind the front wheel arch on the driver's side, you'll also see badges for each of the five trails in Moab recognized by Jeep. These are called "Badge of Honor" trails and those who buy the Wrangler Red Level, can add to that once they conquer any of the more than 30 approved high-profile trails in the U.S.

The Jeep Wrangler Level Red also comes with a set of 17 x 8-inch beadlock wheels that have been wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires. These wheels and tires combined with the Jeep Performance Parts two-inch lift kit, definitely make this Jeep ready to tackle nearly anything.

The interior of the Wrangler Level Red may not be as comprehensively styled as the exterior, but it is still well dressed for the event. Tuscany Katzkin leather seats are the undisputed highlights, while a complementary Flame Red color brings some spice to the seat belt webbing.

Moreover, a gloss-black look on the steering wheel spokes and dash grab handle provide a classic touch that meshes nicely with the rest of the utility vehicle's accessories. From the tow-strap bag to the all-weather floor mats and first aid bag on the rear swing gate, the interior of the Wrangler Red Level is as special edition as it can get.
