Lamborghini Reventon spotted in Germany 
The Lamborghini Reventon is not only one of the most desired super cars in the world, but it is also the most exclusive Lamborghinis of all time. One of these jet fighter inspired raging bulls has been caught this weekend at the Norisring in Germany. We have no need to remind you, that it looks amazing! The Reventon is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine that produces 650 HP and accelerates the all wheel drive speed machine from 0 to 60 MPH in only 3.4 seconds and can hit a top speed of 211.25 MPH! The Italian automakers proposed hybrid drive train is not the only special project coming out of the Lamborghini workshop. As Top Speed previously reported, the coachbuilder from Sant’ Agatha is preparing a Roadster version of their Reventon supercar. The super car branch of the Volkswagen Group is also hoping to launch a new model by the end of 2009. The future Lambo’s power plant will be an advanced version of the 640 HP V12 from the Murciélago LP640, meaning more power and better performance than the factory hot rod. The new car will have a shorter wheelbase, making it more nimble; and will be wider for added stability through the turns and be constructed from lots of lightweight composite materials for efficiency. If all this is correct, this promises to be one of the best Lamborghinis ever. Ferrari’s next 450 might want to watch out.
Reventon in a box If you thought that life would never be as sweet as when you were a child sitting under the tree on Christmas morning opening presents, we have some good news for you. If you want to recapture that feeling of of innocence and excitement all you have to do is call up your local Lamborghini dealer, and order a brand new Reventon. Unfortunately all 20 Examples of the jet fighter inspired super car are already in the hands of collectors, but if you can find one that didn’t throw away the original packaging, you can once again enjoy the feeling of unwrapping one of the greatest presents in the world. A Reventon for $20kAlthough it is not quite a Lamborghini Reventon, this clone does a very good impression of one. However; for $20,000 the replica is a huge discount compared to the Million dollar asking price that some owners are looking for. The car is being developed in Central America and comes complete with three year warranty. Maybe they could have done something about the wheels. See for yourself. When we talk about cars limited to only 20 units, when one changes its wheels photographs are posted all over the internet. So when we are talking about the $1.4 Million Lamborghini Reventon, you can imagine the stir it creates. Now, details are scarce, but Top Speed can confirm that this Reventon had a "little problem." As seen by the flat bed tow truck, oil and bits of engine left behind the car. Only one thing is for certain, on a car that rare, the repair bill won’t be pretty. But if the people at Global Motors are going to take the time to make a rendering, then we’re happy to revisit the idea of a 670 hp, €1,200,000 (about $1.6 million) roadster. When a high school band needs to raise money, it has a bake sale; when Lamborghini needs to raise money, it drags out the old castings it has for an ultra-rare supercar and whips up an new batch without a top. This seems to be the best explanation for rumors going around about a roadster version of the Reventon in the works. After all the current economy has caused Lamborghini to see a slowdown in sales and it possibly put the brakes on the Estoque, so what better way to get some cash by tapping into the ultra rich one more time. Lambo won’t have a whole lot of work it has to put in to taking off the Reventon’s top. The roadster can likely utilize many of the production molds from the coupe. Also much of the engineering work can likely be borrowed from the Murciélago LP650-4 Roadster, and it will likely borrow the 670 hp engine from the Murcielago LP 670-4 SV. Although the coupe was limited to only twenty units, the topless version will be an even more exclusive show. The roadster will be limited to nine cars, priced at €1,200,000 each (currently about $1.6 million).
Reventon for sale in Dubai (and everywhere else too!)
Even with the state of the world’s economy it is almost certain that this supercar will be sold in no time all, even with its €1,580,000 (almost $ 2 Million) price tag. Let me tell you why, this Lamborghini Reventon is sitting at a dealership in Dubai. The emirate that was once rich with oil now profits from being a hub for business and destination for tourists. Dubai has become a center of wealth and extravagance. The Reventon exudes both. The Reventon is a limited production supercar with only 20 examples being manufactured. The Lamborghini is powered by a 6.5 Liter V12 engine that delivers 650 HP at 8000 RPM and can hit a top speed of 211 MPH (340 km/h). However this is not the only Reventon up for grabs. Jameslist is tracking 7 of the Italian supercars that are up for sale! One of them is for sale just up the street from our Topspeed Miami Beach office in Boca Raton, FL. We just might have to find some expensive suits and ask the dealer for a test drive.
