The departed Murcielago->ke1267 is no longer part of Lamborghini->ke44's future, but it certainly doesn't mean that we've seen the last of this highly popular supercar. That much you can be sure of when tuning companies like Wheelsandmore are still around.

The German tuning firm famous for some pretty sick projects in the past have outdone themselves yet again with their new program for the Murcielago LP670-4 SV. The project is fittingly called the Murcielago Final Edition, a nice homage to the recently discontinued Lamborghini supercar. And in choosing what type of Murcielago to work on, Wheelsandmore opted for the grand-daddy of them all, the Super Veloce.

The fact that there's only 350 units of this kind in the world already makes the Super Veloce a rare piece of Lamborghini, but Wheelsandmore's program for the supercar adds another element of exclusivity. Aesthetically, the changes include dressing up the car in an olive green color scheme with matching skull logos on both sides of the door. We're not entirely sure what the skull logos are doing there, but we're also not about to question these guys on their own project.

But the highlight of the show, at least as far as this program is concerned, is the engine upgrade given to it. Despite already sporting a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 670 horsepower and 660 lb/ft of torque, the Murcielago Super Veloce was still given a new handcrafted high-end exhaust system, contending stainless steel manifolds, 200 cells sport catalysts, and a remotable valve-flap-system at the muffler. Plenty of upgrades, don't you think?

In the end, the 670-horsepower Murcielago Super Veloce has been turned into a 720-horsepower maniac with a peak torque of 700 lb/ft. For a car that's supposed to have already gone into the sunset, the Lamborghini Murcielago still has enough appeal for German tuning companies like Wheelsandmore to offer programs to further cement its relevancy.

And yes, we do equate 720 horsepower with both relevance and reverence.
