Everyone is getting ready to see the Gallardo successor launched at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, but Lamborghini decided to slip in a surprise in the meantime. This surprise comes in the form of the new 2013 Gallardo India Limited Edition. As its name suggests, the model was specially developed for the Indian market and will be limited to only six units.

The model will be offered through the Rs 3.06 crore (ex-showroom Maharashtra) and is part of the Raging Bull->ke44's 50th anniversary celebration. The new Gallardo India Limited Edition will be offered in three exterior colors: pearl orange (Arancio Borealis), white (Bianco Monocerus) and pearl green (Verde Ithaca) - the colors of the Indian flag. All six units will be offered with a tricolor stripes running the length of the vehicle.

The interior will combine a black trim with green stitching on the driver's seat, orange on the passenger seat and white for the dashboard, center console and the doors.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

The Gallardo LP560-4 is powered by a 5.2-liter V-10 engine that delivers a total of 540 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard, but customers can also opt for the E-gear transmission, which is an automated six-speed manual transmission with a paddle-shift interface.

The model can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and up to a top speed of 199 mph.

On the U.S. market, the model is priced at a little over $205,000.
