As everyone expected, Lamborghini’s teaser video for the 2012 Paris Auto Show was indeed about a special edition Gallardo: the Gallardo LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica. The Superleggera style spotted in this teaser video previewed the design elements of this special edition which are borrowed from the LP 570-4 Superleggera and the LP 570-4 Spyder Performante.
Special features on the new Edizione Tecnica include a fixed high rear wing and new brakes in carbon-ceramic technology. These two new elements help the car deliver an impressive power to weight ratio of just 2.35, one of the best references in the segment.
The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica can be ordered in three exclusive color combinations: Nero Nemesis (matte black) body with Arancio Argos (orange) pillars and front air intakes, Bianco Canopus (matte white) body with Arancio Argos pillars and front air intakes, and Arancio Argos body with Nero Nemesis pillars and front air intakes.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica will go on sale in November 2012. Prices will be announced at a later date.
