2010 Range Rover Autobiography Black Limited Edition

Our heads are still reeling from the launch of the 2011 Land Rover Range Rover and Land Rover has already gone back to work, spewing out a special edition. In order to celebrate Range Rover’s 40th anniversary, Land Rover has unveiled the Autobiography Black 40th Anniversary Limited Edition. There will be only 700 units built with a unique color combination as well as striking interior and exterior design features.

The Range Rover Autobiography Black Limited Edition will be painted in Barolo Black exterior paint and will also feature 20" alloy wheels, Diamond Turned, a unique front grille with Titan grille mesh, a bright chrome grille ‘U’ edge, black grille surround, bright chrome bars, and a black vent surround. It will also feature body colored door handles and, of course, the tailgate badge, ’Autobiography Black’.

For the interior Land Rover offers a combination of two colors: Jet and Ivory or Jet and Pimento. The Autobiography Black logo is discretely repeated throughout the interior where it is embossed on the rear seat armrest and appears on the four unique, Grand Black door veneers. The steering wheel is also Grand Black and half wood.

Happy 40th anniversary, Range Rover, but we hate to break it to you; 40 years is supposed to be celebrated with a ruby. Perhaps a ruby red for the exterior would have been more appropriate?

Press release after the jump.

I’m a Mercedes "BIG" fan, but this Range rover A.B.L.E. is awesome..I like it so much..great car..

well for sure high profile personnel will buy this limited edition of range rover..

yes it a LR is of the best off road vehicles.. No Doubt....

Pretty gorgeous! I like the interior design looks luxurious, but the exterior seems not having lot of changes.

now it’s looks are not boring anymore, with the new grille and set of wheels.

Wonderful, I like the unique finish in Barolo Black and also love that 20-inch alloy wheels and the Diamond Turned.

A nice suv if you can afford to fix it, If I were to buy a suv I would buy something capable off road and have some utility in there somewhere.20 in. wheels are great with 38in tires, not 30 inch rubber bands.

A hardcore off road vehicle when releases on the dirt and lovely and luxurious SUV when on the streets.
