Land Rover->ke46 USA has just added a new entry-level model to its Evoque->ke3666 line-up. The new Evoque Pure and Pure Plus versions will be priced at $41,995 for the five-door Pure version and at $44,995 for the Pure Plus coupe version.
The most obvious change on the new Pure model is its aluminum alloy roof which replaces the panoramic laminated glass roof standard on other Range Rover Evoque models. For the interior, the upgraded model gets a new upholstery combination of genuine leather and Dinamica synthetic suede. Everything else remains pretty much unchanged.
Like the entire 2013 Evoque line-up, the Pure versions will also get the new optional Range Rover Park Assist that helps make parallel parking easier. When the driver selects Park Assist, this system will analyze the position and size of the space. If it is deemed suitable (it only needs to be 1.2 times the length of the Range Rover Evoque), the wording "Space Found" will appear on the display screen. At this point, all the driver has to do is to follow the on-screen commands and manage the transmission selection, the accelerator, and brake pedal, while the Park Assist handles all steering actions. Pretty easy, huh?
