2014 Range Rover Evoque by Larte

Russian tuner Larte Design may not be a household name on the tuning scene, but that hasn’t hampered the company from dishing out a new program in attempt to gain more recognition front the public and the industry.

It’s latest work is based on the Range Rover Evoque and despite not being a jaw-dropper at first glance, the kit does still include a variety of aesthetic and performance modifications

A new wide body kit was install, featuring a new honeycomb grille and large air intakes in the front apron. The kit also has a redesigned rear apron, a centrally-mounted triple exhaust system, and a set of gloss-black, 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels. Additionally, the Evoque’s suspension was tuned to drop the SUV by 30 mm (1.18 inches).

Meanwhile, power comes in the form of a 2.2-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 190 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to Larte Design, the Evoque saw its output increase to 220 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.

The modifications are simple, but ultimately, effective to give the SUV a serious upgrade in style, attitude, and flair.

The Range Rover Evoque has quickly become the hottest-selling model in Land Rover ’s lineup and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down for 2014, thanks to a new release from the automaker.

The U.S. market receives the same 2.0-liter engine as last year’s model, which puts out a respectable 240 horsepower. These engines all link up to an all-new nine-speed, ZF-sourced transmission, which has unperceivable shifts and wide spread of gear ratios to make for smooth acceleration and excellent fuel economy.

ARTE Design Evoque gets prize from Europe’s biggest sports car magazine
For the 12th time, Europe’s biggest sports car magazine announced the “AUTO BILD SPORTSCARS” of the year. The prizes were presented to the winning carmakers and tuners at the Essen Motor Show on 29th November 2013. Before, 77,218 readers had made their choice in nine categories. The Range Rover Evoque from LARTE Design became the favourite tuning SUV.

The Moscow-based premium car-tuning company combines eye-catching designs with high-end products sourced mainly from German OEM manufacturers. LARTE has discreetly moved the vehicle in the direction of a cool street racer, which also finds its expression in the black-and-red paintwork. The new PU RIM body kit with the purist honeycomb grille and the massive air intake in the front apron creates a correspondingly sporty character. The viewers’ eyes are met at the back by a rear apron made from PU RIM, which takes up the front bumper’s design while simultaneously creating the appropriate backdrop for the completely redesigned exhaust system.

The performance of the top diesel engine was increased to deliver a full 162 kW / 220 HP instead of the previous 140 kW / 190 HP while the maximum torque was simultaneously also raised from 420 to 480 Nm. Moreover, the Evoque’s centre of gravity has been shifted 30 millimetres closer to the road, which improves both its appearance and handling. LARTE’s 21-inch light-alloy rims in glossy black also contribute to the success of the proportions. However, customers who prefer a little bit more understatement also get their perfect Evoque from LARTE.
