The updates offered for the new package are similar to the ones offered in the previous version, but this time the SUV is painted in a nice combination of Fuji White and Matt Pearl Grey, while for the interior, the tuner opted to combine red leather with black quilted leather and grey Alcantara with silver stitching.

Along with this cool color combination, Kahn also offers up an aerodynamic exterior kit, a new set of wheels, privacy glass and lots of updates for the interior.

Land Rover is celebrating its 65th anniversary with a special event that will also include the launch of a special-edition Defender LXV (65 in Roman numerals). Is not a surprise that Land Rover has chosen to base this special edition on a Defender model, especially when you consider it i the best sold model on the company’s lineup with over two million units sold since its official launch.

The new Defender LXV can be ordered in either Santorini Black or Fuji White. Both colors will get contrasting Corris Grey roof, grille and headlight surrounds, plus a set of 16-inch Sawtooth alloy wheels.

For the interior, Land Rover has opted for a unique orange contrast stitching on the seats, steering wheel and center cubby compartment. There are also "LXV" logos embossed on the front headrests. As an option, customers can also get a union flag decal placed on the rear of the vehicle.

The new Defender LXV will be put on sale in August.

It looks like Kahn Design will make no exception from its general rule: with every new comes another new tuning kit.

Its latest project is based on the standard Range Rover and it is called Santoniri Black RS 600 Kahn Cosworth. If you were wondering what the "600" in the title stands for, we have to tell that this is one of the few times it doesn’t refer to its horsepower.

The kit is based on the LR-V8 Supercharged version for which the tuner is offering an ECU update plus an arrangement of alterations to the supercharger. The result is a power increase to a total of 545 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque (and this is what the RS600 stands for).

Alongside the engine upgrades, the tuner is also offering an aerodynamic kit that includes vented front and rear wheel arches, a lowered front spoiler, Satin Black bonnet and roof stripe, and an RS front grille with 3D mesh. The car will sit on 22-inch RS wheels.

The interior has also been updated with front and rear bespoke seats, floor mats, quilted center glove box, vented foot pedals in machined aluminum, and tailgate center trim in a 3D Carbon finish.

The new-generation Range Rover Sport is one of our favorite SUVs launched this year. It has a great look, a great presence on the road and four engines to choose from. It looks like Lumma Design agreed with us, as, just a few weeks after the car made its world debut, the tuner came up with a first kit for it.

The kit is part of Lumma’s CLR RS upgrade lineup that also includes models like the M5 CLR 730 RS . The kit includes a new front spoiler, widened fenders and a new front grille. For the rear, the tuner also installed a huge apron that includes a rear diffuser, a new spoiler lip and a roof spoiler.

The new Range Rover Sport sits on a set of wheels sized 22 or 23 inches and painted in either black or polished anthracite. For the interior, the Lumma offers a combination of wood, leather and carbon fiber.

The new-generation Range Rover has been testing ever since 2011 and when the standard model arrived on the market, we knew the Sport version would be just one step behind. The standard Range Rover arrived last September at the 2012 Paris Auto Show, but Land Rover chose to swap continents for the Sport version, and introduce it at the 2013 New York Auto Show.

Just like the standard Range Rover, the Sport model will be all about the reduction of weight. For that, Land Rover has paid extra attention to the materials used to construct the vehicle. The most most important addition is an all-new, first-in-class aluminum architecture that helps save an amazing 420 kg (925 pounds).

The new Range Rover Sport will be put on sale in the third quarter of 2013. Customers will have the possibility to choose between four equipment levels: S, SE, HSE and Autobiography.

Update 04/24/2013: Land Rover has unveiled today a new promo video for the new Range Rover Sport — the most dynamic, agile and responsive Land Rover ever. Enjoy!

Land Rover unveiled the new-generation Range Rover Sport earlier this year at the 2013 New York Auto Show. Back then, everyone believed that this was all the new Range Rover lineup had to offer, but today a series of spy shots proved us wrong.

Our spy photographers have caught a very mysterious Range Rover Sport just outside the Nürburgring . Why do we think this is no ordinary Range Rover Sport? Well, the answer is quite simple: it wears a new front bumper with bigger air intakes. All these changes are a clear indication that under the hood there is something more powerful than the current 510-horsepower 5.0-liter V-8 supercharged engine.

What we cannot tell for sure is what name this new version will wear, but "Range Rover Sport R" sounds like the perfect choice for an even more powerful Range Rover Sport.

We will keep you post it with more details on this mysterious model as soon as we will find out more!

It looks like Kahn Design is into a real competition with itself as every week comes with a new tuning package. This week, the tuner updated the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 TDV6 XS with a very cool RS300 package.

For the exterior, the package adds a pair of RS vented front air dams, an RS front grille with 3D mesh, door entry sill plates in stainless steel and RS vented rear air dams. LED lights are used for the front wheel arch stripes and, in order to offer you the best protection, the model comes equipped with privacy tinted glass.

For the interior, Kahn is offers up a diamond-quilted center glove box, vented foot pedals in machined aluminum, front, middle and rear seats in quilted and perforated black leather, and ca lock bezel surround finished with Swarovski diamonds.

The last piece of the new RS300 package is a new set of RS600 wheels.

UK-based tuning firm, Merdad, has been featured prominently on these pages for its work on the Porsche Cayenne 902 Coupe .

Now it’s turning its attention on something a little closer to its roots, the Land Rover Range Rover . Though the photos of the program are still in their preview guise, Merdad did divulge details behind the Range Rover Highland GTC.

Notice that the luxury SUV looks a little bit bigger? The tuning firm did the work on that, courtesy of a new wide-body aero package that added 92 mm (3.62 inches) to the SUV’s width. The list of components includes a new hood, wheel arch extensions, new side skirts, a roof spoiler, a full-carbon rear bumper, a new diffuser and tailpipe deflectors. In addition, the interior was also treated to a complete overhaul, although Merdad has yet to release any information on how it did just that.

Another important part of the program is Merdad’s promise of a performance upgrade, which will be offered in a choice of outputs ranging from 510 horsepower all the way up to a staggering 700 horsepower with prices being broken down to $209,000 for the Range Rover 3.0-liter, $228,000 for the HSE 4.4-liter, $239,000 for the Supercharged 5.0-liter, and $485,000 for the 700 GTC Range Rover Coupe Racing 4 Seater.

The end of the week is coming with another tuning kit from the British tuner, Kahn Design. This time, the tuner focused its attention on the Land Rover Defender and created a very cool Chelsea Wide Track kit. As usual, the tuner offers updates to the exterior and interior, while the engine is left untouched.

The exterior upgrades include new front and rear wide wings with integrated vents and bolt apertures, extended wheel arches in satin black, front and rear wing-vent mesh inserts, roof in satin black, bonnet vents with mesh, and a new front grille with embossed Kahn mesh. The tuner also installed new headlamps with diamond LED lights. The car will sit on 18-inch RS Defender wheels in satin black combined with brake calipers finished in liquid red.

For the interior, the upgrades include: front and rear racing seats in black leather with silver stitching, a new leather steering wheel, front and rear floor mats, and vented foot pedals in machined aluminum.

Just the other day, Land Rover tossed us a bone by revealing a teaser image and video of its revised Range Rover Sport. Well, now someone at Land Rover has apparently decided to toss us the entire chicken by posting images of the 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport completely camouflage free.

When we saw the teaser image, we noted that the new headlights looked very similar to the Evoque and the larger Range Rover. If these leaked images are, in fact, of the 2014 Land Rover Sport, then our suspicion on the redesigned headlights is correct. What we couldn’t see in those teaser images was just how significant the redesign would be, but these leaked images show us that the redesign is extreme.

Front to rear, the Range Rover Sport is completely different. Gone is the flat front and rear ends, leaving a much sportier-looking SUV. In fact, these images look almost like the LR2, Range Rover and Evoque all had their DNA mixed up to make the ultimate hybrid.

Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long to find out if these images are real or not, as the new Range Rover Sport will be unveiled on March 26th.
