2009 Land Rover LR3

Land Rover unveiled at the New York Auto Show the 2009 LR3, a SUV that revolutionized the mid-priced SUV category with its impressive technology and sophistication, unstoppable off-road strengths and poised on-road performance.

For 2009 the LR3 will be offered in only one model and two optional trim levels (HSE and HSE LUX). Minor refinements include a new wheel option, body color and interior enhancements.

Land Rover LR3 By Team MIT

Land Rover has joined forces with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) by donating a Land Rover LR3 that has been built to be fully autonomous so it can take part in the forthcoming 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge.

Land Rover LR3 navigates Hercules aircraft

The sky’s no longer the limit for Land Rover North America today as an LR3 has accomplished something no vehicle has ever done before.
