Hamann Motorsport has unveiled a new custom kit for the Range Rover Sport with aerodynamic body kit, sports brakes system and new exhaust system.
The engine power has increades from 225 bhp at 4000 rpm to 475 bhp at 5740 rpm and a maximum torque of 449 lbs-ft at 3500 rpm.
The 2007 model-year Range Rover will now available with a new V8 turbodiesel that massively improves the car’s 0-60mph time.
A development of the 2.7-litre TDV6 used in the Discovery, the V8’s 272bhp and 472lb ft means it significantly outperforms the outgoing BMW-sourced 3.0-litre diesel. Land Rover claims a 0-60mph time of 8.5sec, down from 12.7sec, a top speed of 124mph and a 50-70mph time that’s better by 40 per cent. Quoted fuel economy stays much the same, at 25.1mpg.

Land Rover North America announced that the ultra-exclusive Range Rover Westminster, a limited edition of 2006 Range Rover Supercharged vehicles, are now arriving at Land Rover retailers. The 2006 Westminster edition is exclusive in that only 300 are produced, making these vehicles highly coveted. The Westminster name was originally launched as a Limited Edition in 2001 on Range Rover and was inspired by the very limited UK-based Linley Edition. Consistent with the theme of the original, the 2006 Westminster Package features a high level of interior luxury.
