LUMMA Design is one of the first global tuning companies to offer customized solutions for the new Range Rover. The fourth generation of the classic off-road vehicle, presented in London in September, will be rolling into dealerships next year and is significantly lighter than its predecessor. Aerodynamic specialists from Winterlingen have designed the exclusive CLR R body kit for the luxurious SUV. It includes a front spoiler-bumper with a large vent in the center and an integrated cup spoiler sword. Lateral design frames enhance the daytime running lights. The designers have additionally remodeled the front grill.
The sporty-dynamic look of the Range Rover is seamlessly continued, as evidenced by the extra lightweight and sturdy full-carbon hood construction by LUMMA Design. The air vents are a clear indication: here comes an athlete. Customers have the option of ordering the hood with a carbon fiber or painted finish. Hot curves: wider wheel arches on the front and rear axles and extended side skirt panels emphasize the dynamic look in contrast to standard models. The cult SUV is about 50 millimeters wider on each side. A bumper and diffuser in carbon, full-carbon tailpipe deflectors and an extended roof spoiler with additional brake light are featured at the rear.
The massive wheel arches easily accommodate the special wheels by LUMMA, model CLR 22 Mono with 12x22 dimensions and their 315/30-22 tires. A special sport suspension-lowering module brings the Range Rover by LUMMA Design a spectacular 40 millimeters closer to the asphalt. A stainless steel sport exhaust system provides the off-roader with enhanced performance. A throttle control system is responsible for improved sound.
To start with, the improved performance of the 5.0 liter gasoline engine delivers a sportier image. LUMMA Design tunes the Range Rover from 510 to 540 hp. Ultimately, the gasoline engine will undergo a power treatment to rev it up to 560 hp. Performance packages for the diesel motors will follow.
An exclusive interior package is also planned. LUMMA Design will upgrade the interior with classy two-tone leather along with sporty details in carbon, door sill panels and aluminum pedals.
The first body kits and vehicles will be available from April 2013.
