2010 Lexus RX to be revealed at the LA Auto Show
 
Lexus confirmed today that the 2010 RX will make its world debut next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The design of the 2010 RX will not stray too far from the current design, which didn’t stray too far from the original 1997 design. The updates to look of the RX will likely be inspired by the Lexus LF-Xh hybrid Concept revealed last year at the Tokyo Show (using Lexus’ "L-finesse" style.) Auto Motor und Sport caught the 2009 Lexus RX testing at the Nurburgring race track. This should say a lot about the future of the original crossover SUV, because most SUVs don’t take the time to be able to say "tested at the Nurburgring". The base engine will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 introduced this year in the current RX 350. Top version will be powered by a 380 hp 4.6-liter V8 engine used in the recently introduced LS 460 sedan.

2006 Lexus RX 400h
Ever since the Lexus RX 400h debuted at the North American International Auto Show, this Lexus hybrid has continued to generate interest among consumers. "The new RX 400h redefines the midsize luxury SUV market while raising awareness and acceptance of hybrid gas-electric vehicles among luxury car and SUV buyers," said Denny Clements, Lexus group vice president and general manager.
