2010 Lexus SC430 Platinum Edition

lexus sc430 platinum edition picture

Let’s face it; after 9 years of mediocre history, Lexus is set to cut the lifeline out of the SC430. But despite its lack of success, the last set of units that will be offered for the SC430 will come as a special edition: the SC430 Platinum Edition.

This special edition will be distinguished by xenon headlights, metallic paint, a rear spoiler, and 18-inch alloy wheels in six-spoke design. The interior will get air conditioning, electrically adjustable seats, a big audio system with CD changer and nine speakers, and a navigation system with maps for Europe.

Lexus announced no successor for the SC430, so - for now, at least - the Lexus IS Convertible will just have to be enough.

it wasn’t a bad design really, just way outdated styling

It’s really weird how the SC looks so much better in pictures than in person, isn’t it? It has an old-school cruiser look in photos, in my opinion - simpler and more classic lines than the latest from M-B. But It looks like a warmed over Buick Riv when it’s cruising next to you on the highway. Too bad.

But they have said that Lexus has lack in success then why they decided to make a special edition for this one?

Some say that the car is still powered by a 4.3-liter V8 engine. Well I hope no more accidents for this one.

After 9 years of, lets face it not so successful history. Lexus will end SC430’s production. And the last units to be offered will come as a special edition: SC430 Platinum Edition.

Great point! I completely agree that the innovative way to start a new is to present something jaw dropping.

Are you serious? You’ve got to be joking. Please name ONE component on this car that was carried over from the Altima. Go ahead. Let’s see if you can do it. Just try to be a little intelligent in your reply unlike your last post.

Well, there aren’t really that much changes to the car or not that much additional things that makes it interesting. If they get it tuned perhaps it will be more interesting.
