The Lexus LS has been the brand’s flagship for quite awhile now, but the car just lacks the style and finesse needed to really impress. Thankfully, tuners out there are getting their jobs done and preparing tuning packages to awe and inspire. We have already had a kit done for the Lexus LS460 by Job Design, and now we are getting a second one from the guys over at Platinum Motorsport. It may have less features than the package by Job, but it is rather impressive nonetheless. The American tuner is offering a new front bumper with a performance-inspired lower area, a new front grille, and new side skirts. The rear bumper was left unchanged, but a new set of 22" Agetro W150 rims in a multi-spoke design were added to complete the design. The car’s exterior is painted in an impressive pearlescent blue finish that makes the car look more elegant than ever. Like most of their other projects, Platinum Motorsport has left the engine for the LS460 untouched, but luxury is the name of the game for this Lexus, so we doubt many of its owners will be concerned with a boost in power. The standard V8 with 380 hp and 367 lb.-ft. of peak torque is more than enough. .

 I wonder if the F Sport package’s returned suspension’ constitutes anything more than the springs and shocks that are offered in the current F Sport catalog.

 American tuner has a new 2011 Lexus LS460 Sport by Platinum Motorsport front bumper with an inspired performance, the lower part, a new grille and new side sills.
 Not bad! Even though extra weight and size isn’t exactly sporty, I feel that the sport package aero looks best on the long wheelbase model.
 Too bad there’s no magic button to keep this composed cruiser in MT fleet for another week. I’d press it a few times
 I don’t know why a knocked off car guy belong here too. Let me give u head ups. LS is RWD based sit on its own chassis, DI 4.6L V8 and Mark Levinson sound system and …. (list goes on…). Avalon is FWD based car sits on a lengthened Camry’s chassis. Both cars share nothing in common besides 4 wheels and 1 motor. FAIL…
 If American car-manufacturer heads had been warned about a Japanese take-over in the mid 80’s, they would have almost certainly laughed at the prospect.
