Caught on the streets in Michigan is a camouflaged sedan that may be the next baby Lincoln, the 2009 M, expected to be shown at the Detroit Auto Show this January. The engine expected is a V-6, originally shown in the MKR concept last year. Expect a new grill design, as well.
Lincoln unveiled the MKS Concept at the Detroit auto show in January and a production version is expected to be unveiled in 2009. The MKS will replace the Town Car on Lincoln line-up.
The 2009 MKS will be powered by a V6 engine power and will feature front-wheel drive, six-speed transmission and a unitized body structure.
The Lincoln MKS strongly hints at the design direction for Lincoln and its upcoming new flagship sedan. Lincoln MKS’ expressive design is defined by sculpted fluid surfacing that conveys an athletic nature and performance.
