The S4S was powered by an Inline-4 engine with an output of 300 hp at 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 290 lbs-ft at 3600 rpm. The S4S had a top speed of 168 mph and made the 0 to 60 mph sprint in just 4.6 seconds (0 to 100 mph in 11.4 seconds).

Externally, the S4s recieves the bodywork of the previous S4 Sport 300. Such enhancments include a larger rear wing and bigger wheel arches.
