2011 Lotus Elise Special Edition for Netherlands

  Review

Lotus Elise has just received a facelift for 2011, but before it goes on sale, Netherlands will be the first to get a special edition Elise SC. This is completely unfair in our books. The limited edition Elise comes painted in matte white with details contrasting in black (superhot). The seats receive an embroidered logo and the standard wheels have been replaced by black 12-spoke alloy wheels. Also, the rear diffuser is painted in black.

Under the hood the 4-cylinder engine remains unchanged, meaning 136 HP and a fuel consumption of 5.04 liters/100 km. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is made in 6.5 seconds.

You know, we can’t seem to understand why everyone else is getting these special edition Lotuses. If you remember, a couple of months ago, Australia received the Lotus Elise Club Racer and last year, the UK received the Lotus Elsie Black and White Edition. Hey Lotus, we want this car too!

haha. The figure performance of this car seems to be similar with the production version. This car is just a waste of money. The Evora is far better than this car!

Wow! I like this speed special edition for the Elise. BTW, is it just me or this car seems to be an identical of the Ferrari Enzo? And heck! The boost power of this car is only 2 hp! More power please.

This Lotus Elise really got those perfect style as a sports car, I like it especially in its lovely color white which make this car looks neat and arrogant.

The new model really looks amazing. According to some sources on the web this model is using an advanced aluminium bonded chassis in order to save weight.

A correction to my previous post- the Swiss price is listed in Swiss Francs, not Euros. When converted to Euros the price is roughly the same as everywhere else in Europe. For Holland however, taxes are definitely the culprit.

Thats the basic 100kw engine. Cars liek this are not meant for outright in line acceleration. They are cars which handle. If you want straight line acceleration, get a HSV.

The new model looks great especially the headlights which are sorta like a combo of Evora and Ferrari California.
