2011 BMW X6 by Lumma

Ever since the BMW X6’s official launch back in 2007, Lumma Design has offered numerous updates for it. Just recently, they presented the world with the CLR X 650 and now they’re coming at us with another package that features both exterior and interior updates, as well as significant engine updates.

The exterior updates include a new front spoiler with enlarged air inlets, head light "eye brows" and mirror hatches, a rear spoiler lip, and a sportive look engine bonnet, all made in carbon fiber. The rear gets a modified rear apron with a demanding diffuser. Rouding out the exterior is a new set of 22" wheels. The wheels have been combined with yellow painted brake calipers and a ride height reduced by 40 millimeters.

The interior gets an ergonomically formed and upholstered sport steering wheel with a bicolor interior fitting in rhombus optics and contrasting ornamental seams, front and rear sport seats in structured carbon leather, leather upholstered interior borders, aluminum pedals with slip-resistant rubber dots, and lit door sill panels with the LUMMA logo.

For the engine updates, the BMW X6 gets a sport exhaust system in an X6 M look with 4x100 mm tail pipes in black racing optics. As a result, the serial diesel engine now delivers a total of 340 HP (up from 306 HP).

2003 - 2010 BMW 6 Series by Lumma Design

The new generation of the BMW 6-Series Cabrio may be reveling in the glow of its unveiling, but not everyone follows the out with the old and in with the new way of life. Lumma Design, for example, isn’t bothering with developing a new package for the next generation Cabrio, but is instead revitalizing an older version for all of us that would like to feel that our old cars can still feel like new. The E64 6-Series is all polished and ready to go, sporting a new ’do in the form of added features for the exterior and interior.

The updated BMW can now be seen wearing a new front bumper, a matching rear apron, a new rear wing, and a new set of 21" polished chrome three-part sport rims. Other add-ons, like the front grille and exterior mirror casings, are sharpened up with the use of carbon fiber. At the back, the convertible makes good use of the 4-pipe sports exhaust system filtering out the power from the eight-cylinder power unit developing 360 HP.

Lumma Design didn’t leave the interior untouched as they added an ergonomically shaped and flattened steering wheel trimmed with carbon and leather, white instrument dials and seat belts, an aluminum pedal set, door sills, a dash panel, a handbrake handle, and seat back shells trimmed in real carbon.

It may not be the brand spanking new 6-Series Cabrio, but this finished product is worth a glance or two.

If yesterday Lumma was revealing the CLR 558 GT package based on the new generation Porsche Cayenne, today the tuner announced the CLR X650 package based on the BMW X6. The name might sound familiar to you as last year the tuner revealed the CLR X650 M based on the BMW X6 M. Official debut will be made at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The exterior package includes a new front spoiler, rear bumper, side skirts, sporty looking bonnet, rear spoiler and carbon fiber inserts on the rear lip, mirror covers, front kidneys and headlamp visors. For the interior Lumma is offering leather upholstered sports steering wheel and leather covered carbon-look interior ledges. All the interior is covered in leather upholstery in black and beige, complete with decorative seams in the contrasting color. The final touch to the car’s interior upgrade is the color coordinated instruments and the aluminum pedals with anti-slip rubber coating.

The engine updates is only offered for the diesel versions. Thanks to an accelerator pedal power module and a new sports exhaust system the engine now delivers 340 HP and 670 NM of torque.

The whole look is completed by new exhaust system with middle tailpipe of a diameter of 100 millimeters flanked by the two 80 millimeter ones. The CLR 558 GT sits on 22" sports rims.

The interior gets a two-tone leather upholstery, Alcantara covering all the interior’s plastic coverings, an ergonomically shaped sports steering wheel (which includes an airbag) and the carbon-look interior ledges, color-coordinated instruments and aluminum pedals with anti-slip rubber coating.
