At the 78th International Motor Show in Paris, Maybach is presenting its Model 57 S in a shining white paint finish for the first time. In this way the tradition-laden German luxury brand is meeting the desire of one of its customers for even more individuality.
With the new model 57 S, Maybach offers a high-end luxury saloon whose performance and dynamic handling need fear no comparison with a sports car.
The all-new Maybach 57
S (the S stands for "Special") will be celebrating its world premiere at the 75th Geneva Motor Show. By presenting a more powerful and individualised version of the Series 57 saloon, Maybach is responding to discerning customers’ desire for even greater engine output and dynamic handling. Developed in cooperation with Mercedes
-AMG, the 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine provides impressive acceleration, powering the Maybach 57 S from zero to 100 km/h in only five seconds. This makes the Maybach 57 S the worlds fastest series-production saloon in its segment. In line with the more powerful engine, the Maybach 57 S also comes with an uprated chassis.
The Maybach - regardless of whether in version 57 or 62 - represents the pinnacle of modern automotive engineering. Refining such a luxury sedan is very special and therefore Brabus
uses only its very best engineers, technicians, designers and upholsterers to work on this project.
The Maybach 57
and 62 were the first automobile models of the Maybach
brand since the brand’s revival by DaimlerChrysler. They are derived from the Mercedes-Benz Maybach concept car presented at the 1997 Tokyo Motorshow (which was based on the Mercedes
-Benz S-Class sedan).
