According to Autotelegraaf.nl, Maybach will launch a new model next month at the Middle East International Motor Show (MEIMS) in Dubai. The new model will be called 62 Landaulet and will be limited to only 20 units. Coming in such a limited edition and being a Maybach, we can expect the new model to be aimed mainly at the superrich in the United Arab Emirates.
Last week, Maybach premiered the 62S in Dubai. Now we show you what you can drive, well if you are in the Top 100 Millionaires. Enjoy! (At least the video, if not the car!)
Maybach, the luxury brand with an illustrious past, re-established just four years ago, is adding a fourth variant to its line-up in the shape of the newly developed 62 S model. The "S" stands for "Special" and draws attention to the fact that the Maybach engineers at the Sin delfingen-based Manufaktur workshops have incorporated a wealth of meticulously developed, special features specified by their highly discerning customers into the new 62 S model. The result is a new dimension in travelling comfort, especially for the passengers in the generously proportioned rear compartment of the new high-end luxury saloon. Not to mention a prodigious power output thanks to the enhanced potency of the twelve-cylinder engine developing 450 kW/612 hp, making the new 62 S model the world’s most powerful chauffeur-driven saloon in series production.
Equipped with the automotive technology of the 21st century, crafted in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and designed with scrupulous attention to detail, the new Maybach saloons reflect the expertise of DaimlerChrysler as the world’s most innovative and tradition-steeped vehicle manufacturer, while benefiting from the technical leadership, know-how and unique experience of its sister-brand Mercedes-Benz in the worldwide luxury car segment.
