2008 Mazda3 pricing announced
 
Mazda USA today revealed the pricing for the all-new Mazda3: pricing start at $13,895 for the i Sport M/T, and tops out at $21,145 for the s Grand Touring A/T model. The i Touring Model is replaced by i Touring Value model offered in two different versions: $16,595 for the five-speed M/T and $17,495 for the four-speed A/T. All Grand Touring models produced in 2008 come with a standard six-way power driver’s seat, and all MAZDA3 2.3-liter models and MAZDASPEED3 models receive an interior freshening. 2008 Mazda Axela
Mazda Motor Corporation has released updated versions of the Mazda Axela sports compact in Japan. Known as the Mazda3 in overseas markets, the Mazda Axela has earned high praise both in Japan and abroad. All models in the range – including the four-door Axela, five-door Axela Sport and Mazdaspeed Axela – feature fresh improvements and are available from today at all Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Mazda Autozam dealerships nationwide. 2007 Mazda 3 MPS Extreme
Mazda has today unveiled the third in its series of extreme cars, a modified version of the high-performance Mazda3 Mazda Performance Series (MPS), at the 2007 Sydney Motorshow. Based on the top-selling Sports Pack luxury specification, the Mazda3 MPS Extreme has received engine, suspension and exhaust upgrades that improve the performance of the world’s quickest hot-hatch by about twenty per cent. Mazdaspeed3 to get a diesel engine
Mazda is preparing a diesel engine (probably called D Sport) for the MazdaSpeed3. The new diesel model come to comepete with diesel models like Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra and Peugeot 307. The D Sport will feature a six-speed manual gearbox and plenty of mid-range punch. It will make the 0-60 mph sprint in 8.5 seconds and have a top speed of 130 mph.
