rated as the fastest front-wheel sports car available on the market. a great competitor of Lancer Ralliart, R32, VW GTI, and wrx. but i really love it’s body style.
yea it had a torque limiter in first and second gear that didn’t work worth on hard launches and there was still torque steer going thru third gear... thats the only reason i shyed away from this car and stuck with the 240 No engine will ever have the same horsepower as the previous model. Usually they are tweaked for better mileage and get a few more ponies. A hood scope wll definately help extract the extra horses. jtm, didn’t the last model have a torque limiter? Or was it useless? if that hood scoop is functional it will help to cool down the top mount intercooler allowing for more boost which in turn is more hp and torque... but they’re gonna have to do something a little better than what they did last time with that torque steer.
Horsepower is about the same (at least with the current Mazdaspeed3) and they weight about the same. Both are great handlers...the biggest difference is likely front-wheel drive vs all-wheel drive.
