The special edition MX-5 Black & Matte Edition was the result of a collaboration between Mazda and local design house LK, which, in addition to being covered in a sexy black matte finish and decked out with some fine and expensive jewelry, including rhinestones, gems, and crystals.

As one of the most iconic models in their brands entire history, Mazda is throwing the whole keg in giving the MX-5 the recognition it rightfully deserves. After all, it’s not a stretch of the imagination to think that Mazda wouldn’t be where they are now without the MX-5.

Matte edition of this Mazda MX-5? Will it still be a good-looking car? I hope it will work, anyway. I think they didn’t change this one a lot because I still see the features that I’d like on this one, and that’s great.

I really love the black color of this MX-5, but they should change the front bumpers of this car it looks like Mazda2 and the new Mazda3

I think the flat black paint and the smiling grille make for a really strange combination. Such a sinister finish with a happy face on it. Regardless, it’s quite a looker.

I agree very unique from the japanese... Most of the car is Japanese style inspired and not just a copy of euro and us cars.

Lovely in japan they declared that the Mazda (Machuda) is their national car.

Matte black for any cars not just Mazda, is foul. They decrease the passion and style of the car and eliminating its elegance.

Pretty nice. I haven’t really seen that much cars in Matte wrap but I think that it works well with most cars including this baby. The cool black rims make it an even more attractive ride.

So cool. I was amazed on what mazda did to the MX-5.
