2011 Mazda MX-5 Record Series

Mazda is celebrating their entrance into the Guinness Book of World Records with the launch of the special edition Record Series MX-5 . This special edition will be offered in two versions: black (limited to only 120 units) and white (produced exclusively by the Italian branch of the house of Hiroshima).

The Black Record Series model will be powered by a 1.8-liter engine that delivers 126 HP and is paired with five-speed manual gearbox. It will be painted in Sparkling Black combined with a glossy finish for the wheels, chrome handles for the doors and frames, and silver and chrome-ringed fog lamps for the front grille. The interior will get light gray leather and will offer a radio with a CD player and MP3 player, Aux jack, six speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The White Record Series model will get a 2.0 liter engine with 160 HP, paired with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Its exterior will be painted in a Chrystal White Pearl color which contrasts with the black Recaro leather interior. This version will be focused on sport, so it will add a sport suspension and limited slip rear differential, while the inside offers a premium Bose audio system with 6 CD charger, seven speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity.

It’s great to know that they have increased in sales for this car. BTW, I don’t think its ideal to use a car daily that has a lot of power, especially when its gas guzzler. And I would say that 50 hp is just enough!

Just like what I’ve expected with Mazda vehicles! smiley Anyway, it looks more great on its pearl white body paint, and I love the fact that it is a convertible car. However, its engine is not really satisfying at all.

I think they should upgrade the engine and the horsepower of this one, I just really don’t think that it can give a better performance on this convertible car but I had to say that it is absolutely looks great on its aesthetic design.

126 horsepower? Will it be enough on this convertible car? Anyway, I either was so impressed with the simplicity of this MX-5, it looks so stunning and very appealing on that appearance and platform.

I’m impressed with the simple design of this MX-5 but despite that I found it very appealing, and I love the decent appearance of this one, but I wonder if the engine that it had is quite good enough for it.

I always look after to new mazda cars, they been surprising not just me but most of us with their best selling convertible car. Forever with their best special edition MX-5 cars. I can’t compare mazda to other competitors for me they’re number for highly elevated convertible cars.

I like this. The horsepower is 126 and transmission is five-speed manual. This kind of car is for professional only.

Yeah, I would agree on that. Every special edition provides an unimpressive performance since it is only limited. Few changes have made, and then they will call it special edition.

It seems that they only focus on the adds-on of the car but they didn’t offer any engine upgrade. And I guess that’s the ugly side of special edition, minor modification was made.

I guess Mazda is offering a newer version for the MX-5. It seems that they only modified the styling and accessories of the car and power output is the same.

Well, come to think of it. With all the achievements that they got with the MX-5, it is really not that surprising that they would celebrate that with the special editions.

Hahaha! You’re right. It seems that they are really gunning after the record with all the special editions that they are releasing. Good thing that a lot of them are great looking though.

Hmm, come to think of it, that name is really rather apt. it looks as if Mazda is trying to pull off a record with all the special edition MX-5’s that they are releasing.

Well, I do agree that it is starting to get tiring to see a special edition MX-5 every few moths or so. But there is something in this one that I really like. The color is definitely gorgeous.

Hmm, it seems that they have been releasing quite a lot of MX-5 special editions lately. The last one that I saw was like just a few months ago. I wonder why they are doing the releases so close.

This would be a great achievement for the Mazda. And its great to know that they have increased in sales for this car. BTW, I don’t think its ideal to use a car daily that has a lot of power especially when its gas guzzler. And I would say that 50 hp is just enough!

hmm. Its kind of sad to see the figure performance of this car. Well, I would never even try to test drive this car and I don’t want to see myself driving along this MX-5.
Sorry, guys its less powerful for me.
